It’s small enough to not be in the way of things, yet powerful enough so I can play all my steam games on it without hassle! I haven’t seen any drop of performance with playing my games on this. Was surprised at how small it is, barely bigger than a matchbook. Works fast with my devices, both read and write speeds are great.

A Terabyte In The Palm Of Your Hand!

I was shocked at the compact size, only about 1/4" thick, and about the size of a credit card. Being an SSD, it won't be prone to mechanical failures like a conventional hard drive. Very pleased with this purchase!

I can't really compare this to other external SSDs but I can say it really blows away traditional portable drives as far as speed and portability are concerned. I needed a drive to backup my MacBook before I did a clean install of OS. This was priced well and was fast! My only complaint is that the cord could be longer.

Backup Done

I purchased this Crucial X9 1TB external USB-C SSD. I gave it to Geek Squad in Best Buy for this service to be performed. It is a month later and it's working just fine. The backup went fine, too.
