I was using an external hard drive to record local television programs. It was big, noisy, and had become unreliable. This very small external USB-C SSD is a perfect replacement. It is small, noiseless, works great, and allows me to pause live local television without any problems at all. It was super simple to install and works like a charm.

i brought in my computer box to have the files backed up. I gave them two san disk drives to use to back up files. one of the employees called me about the x9 pro USB and said it would be better to down my files on this than the san disk drives. So I purchased it from best buy for that reason and im happy with the product that will last a long time.

My sons gaming PC's small internal ssd hard drive was close to full from Epic Games bloated ware, so this is a nice external ssd 1tb drive that gives him another option to play online games right off of.

Convenient compact size, works smoothly, data transfer is quick. Only potential downside is that it is so small, that it could easily slip out of a pocket, bag or briefcase. And if it did end up on the ground, easy to step on without noticing.

Lots of storage for a really great price. I use it daily and it performs beautifully. I work in video and photos so I need drives with a good amount of space.

Really love the form factor, it’s the primary reason I went for this at the store compared to the other available portable SSDs. The speed and reliability of Micron also made this a no brainer.

This is plenty room for music and for my Tesla sentry recording. You just need to partition the ssd into 2 virtual areas. The size of this ssd is beautiful.

Fast if connected to a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port. I also like the small size. Crucial's Storage Executive, which is used to update and test this device is buggy, though. But most won't ever need it.

This has been an amazing SSD very rugged and so small. I use primarily for Music production and its portability is great and I store all my sound Libraries on it and projects and the read and write speeds are solid. I haven’t had a single issue with it and prefer it over the Samsung T7!and the tried and true Lacie SSD’s which I had used for years. It also has a great 5 year warranty. I highly recommend.

I bought a new M4 iMac that came with 256GB storage space. The next model up with 512GB storage would've cost an extra $200. I got this 1TB Crucial SSD on sale for $80 instead, so much more storage for less money. The cable is just long enough to plug into one of the iMac's rear Thunderbolt ports and the drive rests neatly on the base of the iMac. I actually prefer having this external drive for storing most of my data, so I can disconnect it and keep at home in case I ever need to take the iMac in for service.
