Since I am a cloud user, I don't rely on external hard drives too often anymore. However, back in day when you could order and install more RAM in your Mac computer, I always went with Crucial. Consequently, I trust them and continue to use their memory. I own two of these, both work great for my use cases. Drives, although light in weight, feel very well made and durable.

Good price for the storage you get great size too!

The only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is the security. When I looked at it in store and online, it said that it was able to be locked and needed a password to get into it, but for the life of me i couldn't figure it out. Still can't. I wish they would've made it a lot easier to use when it comes to that. But other than that one issue, the drive has been great for me. I've been able to clear up so much space on my phone by transferring everything onto my drive. I have a 1TB and it won't be getting full any time soon.

Useful when taking a lot of photos. Easy to store.

Way smaller than expected which is a good thing. Files transfer very fast when used on an ipad pro.

Plenty of space for a decent price. Doesnt cost as much as other. Easy to use, plug and play.

This was my first time with an SSD drive and I already think it's leagues above the old standard external hard drive I had. This device was easy to set up, I love that it is so compact, I can password protect it and the upload speed is awesome! The only critique I have is it would've been nice for there to be clear instructions for setting up the password on mac.

This 3D SSD drive is fast for read and writes and a major improvement over previous crucial drives. It is small, shorter than 80mm and seems rugged. Great for backing up your computers boot drive. Design is better than Samsung. 400 Mbps read and write for USB 3.2. Nice...

Bought this to be a portable drive. And I absolutely love it. It's a huge amount of information and it's small enough to fit in my pocket for my briefcase. I don't go anywhere without it. No need for drivers, just plug it in.

Has problems with for system becoming corrupted with a Mac. See discussion online. When it works it is very fast.

Small but sturdy design. Very fast as external, faster than my MacMini's internal SSD. Very pleased. Moved applications and data from internal to save space. The prices is affordable and reasonable.
