This a an great dual action machine. It is programmable for having your coffee ready in the morning plus having the ability to brew smaller amounts when needed. The hot water side is great for hot cocoa, spiced cider, or making instant soups. It evens has a sensory for cleaning from build-up if you have hard water. I highly recommend this for your home.

Did not trip the breaker! Low amperage and wattage rating pulling from this, for what it does. Pretty decent pot of coffee can be made with this. I only use the 4-6 cup bold setting, so far. It does more than simply make coffee. There is the hot water function, which will continue to boil the water every 20-30 minutes, or so - until you turn it off. I use the hot water to make tea, oatmeal, or transfer to my pour-over Kitchenaid Hot water kettle for Manual pour-over coffee making. It’s helpful. Lastly, the stainless Carafe from my old Cuisinart maker fits like a glove in this model, also. It keeps coffee hot for much longer than the Glass carafe that came with the device.

Enjoy both sides. Hot water side is great for tea and coffee side is great for getting a cup while it’s still brewing the pot. After using a Keurig for the past few years, you get used to immediate single cups. Money and plastic saved from not doing the k-cups, without losing convenience.

After a long life it was time to replace our coffee maker. We were shopping for a Cuisinart Air Fryer but none in stock, and, upon a staffer's recommendation for the coffee maker, we bought this. And now to our summary: The way it is designed and it's sheer height make it awkward to fill with any quantity of water for the brewer -- every night water spills to the back of it and on to the hot pad. There's a very small opening toward the back of the brewing machine, and the top locks open only partially, so, you have to pour from about 5-feet high if you've got it placed on a normal kitchen counter (note: my wife is only 5-feet tall, so she can't really fill it). When the carage nears empty, its top touches the machine top and oops, can't empty the carafe. Awkwardly engineered. The coffee tastes pretty good and we do like the fact that we can brew two cups more than our prior machine. But having to wipe up the water each night after filling it with the carafe is a pain. At best, average. Maybe time to rethink its design.

This Coffee Pot not only makes a great cup of coffee but it also keeps it hot! The hot water system is great for making Instant Oatmeal! I also use it for Hot Chocolate.

It definitely makes a good pot of coffee! I love the hot water feature for my tea or hot chocolate.

I love the settings on this coffee maker. Brews a great pot and you can keep it at the right temperature for as long as you need to. I use the programming functions everyday. I also love the heated water feature when I want a single cup of tea.

We had a similar model which we loved and this one is very good.We like the programable function. We also like the hot water dispenser. I wish it held more water but it heats very fast. We are glad we got it.

This is a very nice coffeemaker. We have coffee daily and my youngest loves hot chocolate so the hot water feature is a nice one! Works great and easy to use!

Works like a dream. Able to control the temperature for heating. Looks great and is simple to use.

Works well. I was used to a Bunn so the waiting took getting used to. The programmable feature makes up for that. The only downside is that it shuts itself off too soon -- this is a great safety feature -- it just doesn't work with our schedules. By the time my husband is up, the coffee is cold. The separate hot water feature is nice.

This is an excellent coffee maker. The reason we bought this particular coffeemaker was for the hot water feature. While this is an excellent coffeemaker in its own right, there are times that a hot cup of tea is preferred over a hot cup of coffee. Very reliable product.

We have had the coffee maker for a few weeks now and can't say we have any complaints. It is nice not having to buy filters anymore. As well, it does a pretty decent job brewing. I have listed the pro's and cons. Please note the cons are just being tough to leave an open review. We would definitely recommend this device. Pros: 1. Good size pot. 2. Gets the coffee nice and hot. 3. Attractive appliance. 4. Neat feature to have water brew for tea. 5. Seems to be well made. 6. Easy to clean everything. 7. Re-Usable filter Cons: 1. The hot water side is only hot water. Unfortunately you can't brew coffee out of that side. It does't say anywhere on the box it does that, but we thought it could do it. 2. Takes about 10 minutes to brew a full pot of coffee from a cold start. 3. No K-Cup support 4. A little pricey, but if it lasts more than a few years then this is not really a con. Time will tell I suppose.

I've had my coffee maker for about a month now and so far so good. This machine makes a great tasting pot of coffee. I really like having the option for just hot water if I want a cup of tea or hot chocolate. I love that it doesn't take up a lot of space on my counter.

I love this coffee maker....simple to use, cleans easily, and looks great. The instant hot water feature is very efficient and is much easier and economical than heating up the teapot!!

This is a quality coffee maker. Easy to use, program and maintain. The instant hot water is a nice bonus as well. My wife loves this feature when making her hot tea. Cuisinart is the best when it comes to quality at a fair price.

The product is good. However, on the hot water dispenser side, there needs to be a little light. Hard to see the water dispense. The beeper indicating brewing is finished is loud and needs a shut off, so not to disturb. Does a decent job.

We owned a Cuisinart Coffee Maker without the hot water option and used it for years. Well worn - it was finally time to replace. This unit is exactly like the other plus the addition of hot water heating. Superb at brewing coffee and the separate hot water side keeps its own supply of water and works independently from the coffee maker portion. Another plus about this unit is that I find it easier to fill the coffee water reservoir because I can rest the coffee carafe on the hot water closed lid and there will not be any water dribbling down the side of the unit.

It's really nice to have both coffee and tea drinkers needs easily met. The machine is nice and sleek. Makes great coffee. Very easy to use. One of the easiest coffee makers to program - and I've had a lot ;)
