it seemed to work for the purpose it was intended had pc issues shortly in the trip don't know if there is any relationship to that or not

It seems that the inverter could not produce enough to power a laptop and an iPhone at the same time. The biggest problem, however, was the inconsistency. Sometimes it worked and other times, nothing. I planned on returning it but I lost the receipt and then the holidays hit. Oh well, live and learn.

This was ok. I've had other chargers that charge items faster.

Blew the fuse on car on second use and car adapter broke.

I keep this handy item in the glove box of my car. I can use my laptop...netbook, light therapy while driving, and I dont loose the cigarette lighter outlet. I can charge my phone, GPS, and use my GPS and radar detector at the same time. One of the handiest products I've had in a long time. Wall outlet, cig. lighter spot , and usb. Get one! It's quiet too. Highly recommended.

Unit does the job, easy to use. Only objection is bulkiness and cord should be storable or retractable

I used this product on a recent week long trip; it provided power for my cell phone, my blue tooth head set and my laptop, all at the same time. It was convenient, easy to use and reliable. It was also quiet while in use, with no loud fan. It fit into my car cupholder. I like this product very much.

I travel alot and need to charge cell phone, computer, i-pod frequently. This allows multiple items to charge at once

I have used this device for a very short period of time. I have no feeling yet for its reliability or what how well it works under various circumstances. It appears to be of very good quality and manufacturing and it is easy to use.

It has worked for 20 consecutive hours with no problems

I bought the power inverter for a recent road trip so my son could watch movies, etc. on the laptop. Not an hour down the road he blew the car's power outlet fuse while trying to power both the laptop and IPod. After a quick stop at Auto Zone we were fine for the rest of the trip.

This charger was purchases to allow powering/charging my laptop while traveling by car.I tried it when I got home. It did not work. I tried it on my older laptop. It did not work. I tried it on an electric lamp with a 40 watt bulb. the bulb lit and lit and lit.. It seemed to perform the same as a strobe light. This is not satisfactory. I tried my new laptop with the 1200w inverter mounted in my truck and it worked fine as did my old laptop and the lamp, so I removed that one to my car for the upcoming trip. When I returned from the trip I returned the small inverter to Best Buy who promptly granted my request for refund. Within 2 days the credit appeared on my account. However, the $5 BestBuy rewards card has not been reinstated as of this writing as the store employee indicated.

The USB outlet was doing a great job charging my phone. I plugged my GPS into the 12v receptacle and noticed that the receptacle was too big. I had read an earlier review and the reviewer had experienced the same problem. He said he had to wiggle it to make it work. So, I wiggled. The result; blew a fuse! Took my car to the mechanic and, $30 later, was told the receptacle was too large which caused the positive and negative to contact at the same time and it blew the fuse in my car. No way to resolve it other than return the product or don't use the 12v receptacle. Since I needed the 12v receptacle, I returned the product.

First use in Best Buy parking lot - didn't work. Went to customer service to exchange and staff wondered if I'd blown a fuse ... turned out the unit blew 2 fuses, AND damaged something else so right now I don't have radio, interior lights,or clock, and 4 instrument lights are lit or flashing. Can't use door lock remote either. I've spent 3 hours of my travels today in troubleshooting and fuse checking / replacement and it looks like ill be headed to a car electric specialist next.

Before you leave the parking lot make sure it will work in your vehicle.

I bought it for a trip to DC from WI, thinking it would keep the laptop powered while watching DVDs. It could not, therefore I believe it was defective. I found a much cheaper inverter at a different retailer that had more outlets and works fine.
