A very helpful associate helped me find what I needed but I found a comparable model at another store for about half the price so I returned this one.

The DC plug does not make good contact.

I have to twist the DC Adapter plug multiple times in order for the plug to make good contact. Otherwise the Light does not come on. The green light indicates the AC converter is delivering power to the unit. Very anoying...

Perhaps I got a bad one. Very noisy. Could barely power or charge my iPad. Did not have enough output for my Surface Pro 3 although rated with enough power. It was returned.

Power output is nt what is advertised. Could not run an elec air mattress pump that is rated as needing less power than this device supplies.

I was hesitent to purchase. I did not have enough information about the product but the sales person indicated many customers purchased this model. The sales person believed no units were returned. So I took a leap of faith. The sales person, although was not sure of the product, convinced me. What a product. The unit is stable, consistent and practical. If you only need AC power for recharging batteries and the total consumption does not exceed the 175 watts, wow. It works. It does get rather warm, almost hot but a few minutes unpluged and in a cold surrounding it is as good as a fresh start.

We bought this to charge an ipad, ipod and laptop on vacation. I liked that it had the 2 plugs and the usb port. I made sure that nothing got laid on top of the unit (which it states in the instructions) and never had a problem with it overheating. It was a little pricey, but all in all a good purchase.

I bought this after contemplating a permanently mounted solution. I wanted something to charge kids' games and maybe a laptop. So far this has worked for those tasks well. I like that I can move it between vehicles easily.

Why didn't I do this sooner?

I bought this so I could use and/or charge my laptop, camera, tablet, etc on long car trips without having to buy special car chargers. Why didn't I do this earlier? I could have saved money by not needing to buy dozens of cell phone chargers and bluetooth ear piece chargers. This is so simple to use: plug it in and attach a regular wall charger for anything. So easy. I recommend everyone buy one of these!

We had one of these and it went bad (many years old) so we replaced it. The kids plug their gaming systems into it on road trips. My husband uses it to charge his phone when he is on a trip. I have plugged my laptop into it on occasion.

I wanted something that I could use to charge my HP OfficeJet 100 mobile printer from my car, should the need arise. This inverter handles things well.

We bought this for use on long road trips so kids can plug in laptops, etc. Even thought its nominal rating is 175 watts, it was not able to power a 90 watt rated laptop power adapter for very long before overheating and shutting down. If we were careful and made sure to keep it cool (which included holding it out the window while driving down the highway) it was serviceable.
