It is ok. Expensive. Good for traveling and camping.

It did not fit easily near the car plug in my car. This made it awkward for kids to use in the back seat while traveling across country. It did not overtax the car when kids were charging their devices. It is too big to store in the center console of my car so we had to remove it and bring it inside every time we stopped.

Recently purchased this item so laptops could be charged in the ac outlets during an 8 hour car trip. Came in especially handy when it turned out the usb in the car was not working, and we were able to recharge phones (running navigational) in the usb slot. What a lifesaver! Overall a very good investment.

This converter is compact, easy to use and works perfectly.

Works great. I like that it comes with both sets of wires so I can either plug it into the 12V power socket or I can hardware it to the battery.

This converter did what it was supposed to do. Plugs into car and allows for two electric cords to be plugged in and used and also one usb cord.

I have had this product for a month or so and no issues have come up. Some friends have even asked me to bring it to the lake for their WiiU.

The Inverter worked great on the initial 11 hour trip, and then again on the 11 trip home. However, on the way home from a second trip (a two hour drive), it just stopped working..., the light was still on the unit, but the fan stopped working and none of the devices attached to it worked (Mi-Fi, laptop, etc.,). I checked the fuse in the unit..., it was fine. It had an electrical burn smell coming from the unit. No smoke, but just that burning smell. Excited at first, but then I was disappointed it didn't make the second, short trip.

A great value for fine performance with extra wattage for ordinary applications. Commonly inverters fail due to peak overloading and poor construction leading to overheating and shorts. This is the first inverter I have used that has not shown signs of overloading and overheating or blown fuses while working with continuous power and operation of multiple devices. This unit has an additional set of usb jacks which operate consecutively with 110v jacks. The only questionable item is poor fitting of usb jacks to board and through case. Possible stress from tight fitting jacks and proximity of components/poor choice of usb jack mounting style may lead to component/jack failure. considering quality and performance of unit compared to common units, I stand behind the product and value for light performance dc/ac inverter suitable for low inductance/low wattage electronics such as laptops, tablets, phones... etc.

I keep a spare car battery charged and during this power outage found that my old 100w inverter died. The price on this was very good and the 400w capacity lets me run my dish receiver, HD monitor, stereo, and a 100w CFL light for over 4 hours before recharge. Yes, the fan is slightly louder than I'd like, but to me that just means the unit is meant for heavier duty use. Many cheap inverters do not have fans. Much quieter than a gas generator! The clips and cables are easy to connect and the thing just works.

This item is well worth what I paid. The USB port is what really sold me on this item. I take it on business trips with me and it works great. I can fit it in the center consol so I have plenty of room for all other items. You can hear the fan buts its not annoying or loud whatsoever. You can store it in your glove box as well.

I purchased this to run a centrifuge in my car. My cheap one lasted almost 2 yrs, so since this was almost triple the price, I had high hopes...WRONG! I plugged it into my car, plugged in the centrifuge and.....nothing. I checked all connections...nothing. After over 1/2 hr of changing this and checking that, I repackaged it and returned it to the store. What a waste of time and gas for nothing!
