I don't like that it is made out of plastic and that it couldn't even handle two crock pots

We returned the unit because at 12v the limit is 100watts no matter how many watts the unit is fully capable to convert.

Issues With CyberPower AC Receptacles,,,,,

Purchased this product to MOSTLY use my "Electric Car Vacuum"....as I was UNHAPPY with my battery-operated Dyson Car Vac.....
My complaint is the fact that I can't get the two prong plug on the vacuum cleaner....or any other two or three prong plug to plug into the AC Recptacles....I didn't try to JAM them (as did one other customer who posted a review) for fear of breaking the inverter or my vacuum plug. The USB ports work fine....and the inverter DOES power up when I have it pluygged into my cigarette lighter....Any suggestions? For now....I give it THREE STARS but will gladly change it to FIVE STARS if I get it to work,,,Also, I followed up with a purchase of another CyberPower Inverter (with ONE AC recptacle a USB and a USB-C port...I'm having the SAME issue with the ONE AC RECEPTACLE....Nothing will plug into it......

Good, but not as capable as its name implies

While promoted as a capable of 480 watts, that only happens if it is connected directly to a battery. Connected to a normal car outlet, the CyberPower PowerTrip 480 is far less capable, only 175 watts. I wish I would have paid attention to that detail before I bought it. The good points are that it is light, has a long connecting cord, and has convenient USB ports as a bonus. I also didn't find it to be noisy as noted by some of the other reviews. My recommendation would be with a caution to spec this out thoroughly before buying.

Handy in the car up to 175 watts.

480 peak watts? Look again--> only if it's directly hooked up to your vehicle's battery. Thru the cigarette lighter, it's rated only up to 175 watts, or so the label says. The good news is that it worked for me and the kids. Their laptop batteries were depleted so we popped by into Best Buy and grabbed this puppy and were back on the road. Laptop battery power was restored and they were back in laptop bliss as Papa drove on. The long power cord came in handy. My only complaint is that it is very difficult plugging into the 110v receptacles. Really had to jam the plugs in there.
