I really wanted to switch my home over to GE because of the attractive price on the overall lineup, but these are just an absolute nightmare and I wish I could return the ones I bought a longer time ago. Will not work at all for many wiring situations, and quality control is apparently poor because after troubleshooting for 4 hours, I finally just opened the thing up and literally found a loose capacitor flying around inside the switch due to poor solder. This unit, installed in the most basic situation possible, did not even turn on. I am uninstalling every one I have in my house over safety concerns and I will never buy another GE smart product. Pairing doesn't work well on the app and requires 2.4ghz, install is a nightmare in certain cases and the switches just don't work with certain bulbs flickering or drawing too much power. Switch setups like when you have two or three switches controlling the same lights have not been possible for me. The app has not worked well at all for me, and even when set up properly, they drop connection all the time and are unreliable.
Sorry GE, but I spent hundreds of dollars on your smart products and I could not regret it more. The stress and anger that this has caused me has turned me off of GE products indefinitely. I am an electronic enthusiast and have had no issue doing home electric work myself, but as I write this review I am boxing up everything I bought today so that I can go return it tomorrow.

If you're looking for a smart switch that is both three way and doesn't require a neutral and supports LED, this is one of your only options. They know that, so you have to pay for it. It's still a lot less expensive than individual smart bulbs if you have a lot of recessed lights, so worth it.

This works great. I put it in my kitchen so the light turns on and off automatically. I can have alexa control it, operate from my phone and more. There is a minimum draw of power required to keep the light functioning so make sure your light bulb or fixture is compatible.

Easy to set up, looks and works great.
It too me about 30 minutes to set-up, I’m quite a notice. Once wired, and screwed in, I connected via mobile app, and then done. I did find the wiring a little confusing ,but only for a minute. Love that it works with “hey google”, huge added confidence, since this was set up in a home theater.

Great smart switch that is easy to connect to Alexa, or just use the GE Cync app. One thing to note is that the setup did not work with my iphone, so I had to use my business android phone, which worked flawlessly.

Very difficult to get to work with alexa and dim . Had it once and then a day later it would only turn on and off , I played with it several times over weeks and finally got it to dim . So far so good for a few weeks now. So hopefully we're all good . Works great when it works.

I love c by ge products. Whole house is setup w them. Had 5 switches i could not setup due to not having a neutral wire. Finally they came out w a solution which i beileve they are the only ones. Easy setup and works great. Happy customer. Thanks

This is a great Smart Switch. My condo didn't have a neutral wire which is typically required to install these switches but this GE model doesn't require one. I was also very pleased with the software interface to control the switch.

Hello, Cync No-Neutral Switches are compatible in three way configurations. Please note both switches in the circuit must be the No-Neutral style and variation. Was able to set up but had issues with setting up for a 3-pole switch. Would recommend an electrician if installing for a light controlled by more than 1 switch

Easy to install and if you need any help, the Phone service is great! Bank of r switches tight but go in and makes our bathroom “hands free” , including the Jacuzzi tub!

I purchased three of these after returning another brands due to not having neutral wires in my electrical system (older home) everything needed for the installation was included aside from the tools. Wireless setup was a breeze with the C by GE app and pairing it to both Amazon Alexa devices and Google Home devices was very streamline.
You are able to dim lights through your smart home devices as well as the App.
Works with other face plates as well if you are not a fan of the white.
I would purchase this product again!
