I was very nervous about using this type, however, our windows would not allow a typical air conditioner.. So far we have really enjoyed it! In fact, I find the noise calming and the cool air helpful for sleeping. Setup was simple and it requires little maintenance of any (we have had it a month and have had no issues).

Convenient and practical, easy to install and move from room to another with little time. Money saver, you don't need to turn on your central A/C home unit.

The good: Setup was simple, the window kit was easy to measure and cut, and everything would have been clear even without instructions. It cools a reasonable size space fairly quickly, this is LA so things can get hot, it won't ice up any windows, but thats okay. The bad: Bright blue backlight on the display was bright enough to disturb my sleep the first few nights, but I have since covered it with some card stock and piece of tape. Also, aside from the constant hum of the compressor, which is expected, there have been some rattles in the unit which are far more annoying, moving the unit around seems to help things resettle. Overall a good buy, but better for an office than a bedroom.

I've had this unit for about 3 weeks now. It works great! The air is cold but the fan isn't that strong so it does take a bit to cool down a larger room. It's not as noisy as I'm seeing people claim but I'm happy with my purchase. Easy to install and hook up. You do have to drain the unit every week or so depending on use but it comes with a hose to drain it into a bucket if you need to. I'm happy with it.

Does a great job of keeping the room cool at night. Easy to install and remove for storage. A little noisy when the fan is on high. A good solid product.

Cools the room pretty quickly. The only downside is the noise; a bit loud but you get use to it after awhile. Very user friendly and easy to use.

It does the job of cooling a room as well as removing moisture, you just have to empty water bucket occasionally. It is a lot less costly then installing a central air conditioning system in my home. It is a bit loud when it runs (goes into cooling mode) but when it blows its rather quiet. I'm constantly having to adjust my TV volume.

My room was expanded into what used to be the attic, therefore it does not have much insulation. In the summer it gets really hot and in the winter it gets really cold and I recently set up a gaming desktop which can kick out some heat. So this summer I decided to get an air condition unit for my room. This product does exactly what it is meant to. I turn it on when I get home from work and in a couple minutes the room is at whatever temperature I set it at. The only problem is that the fan on the unit does not shut off when its on. I would assume that once the room hits the set temperature, the fan in the air conditioner would shut down to save electricity. This is only a minor problem though because I only have it on during really hot days and only when I'm in the room.

Works well. Quiet Fan runs nonstop but sounds like your in the air conditoner when the compressor starts. Got it at a half the price of the Honeywell so can't really complain. ( that one is way nicer).

I was surprised how easy installation was - it cools off the room. The only thing - is that I should have gotten at least a 10,000 BTU.

for the price it is a good unit it cool down a 10 x 10 room fast in less than 5 min , the unit is a bit loud but if it is put in the high setting , easy to install , in overall in happy whit this A/C unit...

All in all a good product. Works well and cools an area around 200 square feet. Attractive unit, however it is pretty loud if you are sleeping next to it. Has programmable thermostat and a fan only feature which is nice on cooler nights.

I have a 2 story house and the top floor does not get as cold as the lower floor.. In order to get the top floor to reasonable level I need to keep the ac thermostat at 65 degrees I now set it at 73 and it is cool enough downstairs and I put The new a/c unit in my bedroom and it keeps it cool all night long better for sleeping and all. Not to noisy works really well....

After reading all the reviews, I was pretty impressed and the unit was on Sale. So bought two of them and they work great. Simple installation process to make sure the exhaust fan fits the window of choice and instant ice cold air. Very quiet too. After a few weeks a relative of mine saw them and went to the store and purchased a unit. Satisfaction all the way around.

The air conditioner is pretty easy to set up and cools the room beautifully, but the controls are a little flakey at times. It will sometimes refuse to let me change a setting or shut itself off as soon as I turn it on. Usually it's a breif glitch and it straightens up quickly, but can be frustrating when you're already hot and irritable and just want to cool off. Overall, I'm very happy with it and I've gotten lots of good use out of it already in this incredibly unseasonably warm weather.

great air conditioner for the price. easy set up. my only complaint is it's very loud when switching from air to fan. the option we have it set on is after it reaches designated temp, it switches to fan. big clunk noise involved. i am getting used to it though.

performs well. could be smaller and a bit quieter, but overall we are pleased

This works so well. It cools down my living room within 30 minutes... Easy to move around the apartment as well.
