Definitive Technology DN Series does not disappoint! These subwoofers paired with my BP9080s provide the quality sound, I’ve come to expect along with the low end bass, DT has been know for. Once of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I don’t regret the purchase!
We couldn't be happier with your review and satisfaction with our DN12 Subwoofer. Thank you for sharing!

So the product is excellent the way it came in was horrible. Packaging was all torn and broken. No bubble wrap missing remote damage on all four corners very unhappy with how they handled the situation.

Beautifully designed subwoofer, very heavy and well-built. Comes with a simple but nice remote that is straightforward and easy to use. The bass is amazing, you can both feel and hear the quality it puts out, very pleased.

I have 2ea. Definitive Technology - Descend 12" in my home theater room. My theater was designed and setup by experts. all speakers are in wall setup, room seats 6, also using the denon - AVR S970H 7.2 CH. I have another Dn12" in my main living room and 2ea. Dn10" in my main bedroom. All my systems are using Denon receivers these speakers deliver way more than you'll ever need

For my room, testing this next to a SVS SB-4000, (SVS costs more) this sub out preformed the SVS. The DN15 has all the benefits of a ported sub without the chuffing. Warning though, this sub weighs over 150lbs. Not the easiest unboxing experience and my first shipment attempt arrived damaged.
Thank you for sharing and providing feedback. A positive customer experience is our number one goal. We hope you enjoy the subwoofer for many years to come!

I ended up upgrading to the next size dude to the size of the room, but this is a solid subwoofer. The clarity of bass and the depth is unparalleled.

This is a nice upgrade from the Def Tech Supercube that served me well for years. This sub provides room filling deep base at a reasonable price point. It's helped take my movie watching to the next level. Base heavy scenes like the opening of Star Wars Episode III and the race in Ready Player One really steal the show.

I’m partial to Def Tech speakers and this aesthetically and sonically goes well with my CS 9080, BP 9040s, BP 9020s and legacy BP 7006s so my 7.1 base layer is complete. I might connect the LFE to my 7006s to get 7.3 but may wait and get a mini DSP and play around with it.

Wow. Listened to a SVS Sub and then listened to this one DN12 and the bass that comes out of this is very impressive. Ordered it, hooked it up at home and it will shake things that you would not expect. We really like the sound thst comes out of this little sub Will be buying a second one soon.
We thank you for your purchase and feedback. The Definitive Technology Descend 12 is capable of impactful bass. Placement and room acoustics can play a big part in the overall performance. Corner placement will typically result in greater output. Please consider experimenting with the subwoofer in different locations within your room.
