I am not a gamer but I did like the specs of this computer having a ton of RAM and a terabyte hard drive. I had no need for the DVD drive but the price of this computer at the time was a very positive influence. It's a little bit heavy but I don't drag it around very much it usually just sits on my desk. This is the first Dell I've ever had but I believe their tech support is very good. I did switch out the hard drive and put in a SSD which helps quite a bit on Startup and loading programs.

This laptop works well for what I use it for. I run some network simulators like GNS3 and WebIOU and the performance is great. The screen resolution nice. The battery life is where this laptop comes up a little short. It is not terrible, but it is not great. The speed of the laptop is great. Overall I am happy with this laptop.

Nice screen quality, plenty of RAM(16GB), and HD space(1 TB). AMD processor is faster than a intel i3 but slower than an i5 or i7. Well constructed and a good value for the price.

I use this laptop for a lot of my daily needs, in addition to gaming through Steam. I rarely run in to any compatibility issues. However this device is known for not having the "best" internet connection. If you are trying to play a game online it may not make use of more than about 100 MBPS. But for people like me who don't have more than that anyways, it's perfect. I have successfully run games on their highest settings. This includes Overwatch on Ultra settings, Team fortress 2 on High settings, and more.

I bought this to show PowerPoints in our church worship. It has been a total success. The 4G Radeon is fast and clean, the premium sound comes through great. The Ram and 1TB hard drive give us plenty of capacity. Great decision to buy.

Start with display. Amazing 1080p resolution including touchscreen. Everything's always crisp. Connectivity is great and stays connected all the time to WiFi, ncluding the Bluetooth, amazing range. 1tb hard drive gives you about 930gb after it installs windows and everything that's needed. Which is still plenty of space. 16 GB of RAM is enough to play heavy games but the Radeon processor lags sometimes. I'm sure overclocking could fix that issue. Overall best laptop for the value. And included 2 years warranty and Kaspersky interest security which has been better than anything Avast could put out. Definitely recommend.

I bought this laptop for my sister. So far she really likes it. She is a teacher and uses it at work and at home. She did want a direct sata connection and a vga connection but settled with hdmi out. The school isn't good at keeping up with technology. She bought adapters and is able to use it like she wants to in the classroom. She doesn't like windows 10 either. Spec wise its a good midrange laptop.

Of all the laptops that Best Buy had listed on their website and / or instire at the time of purchase, this one offers the greatest number of "perks" for an average price of a lower featured machine. By perks I'm meaning things like higher RAM, larger hard drive, somewhat more capable video card, relatively small things like that. While this isn't a full "gaming laptop", it is capable of doing schoolwork / projects and afterwards doing moderate gaming (not the newest games with all the graphics setting maxed out, but that's really just common sense). Good bang for the buck.

I enjoy the laptop by Dell have used Dell pcs for many years. The graphics and speed are really nice. I am not too fond of the touchscreen. But it just may take a little time to get use to it.

I purchased this computer to work from home. It is a nice computer however I find it is a little slow. Sometimes that would be my internet service but even opening programs can be slow at time, or I am just impatient.

amazing storage space, great for heavy use, not be disappointed. fast and powerful

I got this computer specifically for video production and ended up returning it. The AMD processor was pretty good, but didn't perform as well as I had hoped. For most applications even probably photo editing, this laptop will be fine. I wouldn't recommend for processor-intense applications such as video production or gaming. Build quality was excellent and you can't beat the price.

Went from XP to 10. Find some things hard to accomplish. Wish it was the good old days when you used to get a manual which described in detail how to use various functions.

I love this laptop. I don't do any hardcore gaming but it runs League of Legends like a dream. Mostly use it for online shopping, social media, watching videos and it can handle all of those tasks with no problems. It starts up fast, has no issues multitasking, and I really like the island-style keyboard which is backlit.

I love this laptop, the touch screen is awesome and the computer is fast.

My dad was in the market for a laptop and wanted something well rounded. He really likes the touch screen option and the over feel of the laptop. I wanted to get him something with a good size hard drive for what he does.

I wouldn't waste my money a second time. I bought this because I wanted something newer and faster, so I spent more on the bigger and better which doesn't impress at all. I know that most computers are old by the time they hit the shelves and that was another reason I purchased the better stuff because I wanted to have this computer for a long time but because of the windows 10 which I hate I don't believe I made much of an improvement. I don't do much on computers so I don't have a lot of "geek" knowledge, I just know features that I like and everything with windows 10 so far I don't like.
