We had to replace our 10 year old Toshiba Satellite laptop. After researching the Internet and Consumer Report, we found that this unit has the best balance of speed, capacity and price. It was listed as sold out on Best Buy's website for nearly a month (we were told that it was actually that the unit had not yet been shipped by Dell to Best Buy). It was worth the wait. It met our expectations. We were able to set up the new computer (configure to our needs, add new programs, download software, create a recover zip drive, add accessories, and do a complete backup in one afternoon (2.5 hours). It has been in operation now for three weeks and running smoothly.

This was a purchase to replace a laptop we have had for 6 years, and well worth it. Seamless transfer of all the date, folders, and information. We have had no issues at this point, and recommend the this unit for it's large memory.

Popup camera, so it is not "looking" at me all the time. Sleek, beautiful unit. Great unit for a reasonable price. Dell quality product.
