Great ips 165hz 1440p. Got open box at my local bestbuy and I was super happy to get it undamaged. Work every penny. IPS is the way to go if you can’t afford oled

Love the colors. The 165 hz is great for gaming (and I do use it at 1440p with my 3090) usb hub is quite useful. No speakers but I’d recommend this monitor i love it. I use it in conjunction with my LG UK850 4K monitor set to 1440p and I like this one more.

It used to priced in the mid range category (300-500) but on sale I would say there's few monitors that offer the same great specs. You get a great refresh rate, response time, and color gamut/coverage. Dell/alienware monitors also have the best support and warranty. (I had two previous Dell monitors bought 5+ years ago that are still going strong). As an IPS gaming monitor it is on top, but comparing it to all gaming monitors as of 2023 (which include OLED gaming monitors), this monitor is only average, hence the respectable 4 stars. Bonuses (at least for me): Physical power button Both G-SYNC and FreeSync compatible No unnecessary speakers Minor complaints: -While it is VESA compatible, I had to take off the back panel to use my VESA compatible monitor arm because with it, the slot is narrow and deep with the back panel on. - LED strip on back is useless and a waste, Dell please remove it. -The buttons used to navigate the OSD are on the back, I prefer them in the front. Also, because it fits with the back panel, when you take the back panel off as I had to you're left with a hanging PCB strip with buttons.

I love this monitor, none of the pixels on the unit that I got were dead. This is a 10-Bit monitor, meaning that you will be able to see 1.07 billion colors compared to other cheaper monitors that are 8-bit and only see 16 million colors. This monitor gets bright enough in almost every situation, watching content is amazing, colors are great. Contrast is something that can be improved, however if you're just going to be playing games, I don't think it's going to be an issue. For watching content, it's more of an issue, but it's deal able, there are much worse for the same price. The high refresh rate is amazing, everything from just scrolling to gaming is alot better. 1440P is amazing, everything just looks super sharp and makes all 1080p monitors look really bad.

Really gorgeous monitor. I chose this one primarily for the ergonomics, as my husband is very tall and had to hunch over his last short 27 inch monitor or stack it on top of books just to see comfortably. This monitor goes up high enough on its very sturdy stand to not have that be an issue. The colors are solid, contrast is only okay but that's to be expected on an IPS. G-sync worked easily with the provided display port cable. If you're having trouble enabling it, just remember that g-sync can't go over HDMI unless you've got HDMI 2.1 (which this monitor does not have). 165hz looks great as well. No flickering, dead pixels or dimming at all. Overall I would recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a 1440p high refresh rate without paying the price for the Samsung Odyssey.

This display is really good for producing clean visuals at 165hz. I use it as my main display for work, media and gaming. I do not recommend this display if you want good HDR. If you do get this display, I recommend keeping the HDR OFF. The screen looks washed out when HDR is enabled. Overall great display, and I am happy with the purchase.

Excellent display; crisp picture, easy to setup, and display port + hdmi makes it easy to connect two devices at once, or choose your preferred connection method. The only detriment is no on-board speakers, but if you're buying this monitor for gaming, you likely already have external speakers or headphones.

Colors are decent, refresh rate is great. The menus/way to navigate them - are very old school, I wish more manufacturers would just throw in a remote and give you some tv settings. Blue bias light is cool, but not bright enough to actually help with eye fatigue.

Amazing gaming experience with this Dell monitor. Pictures of don't make it justice. There's no glair, soft, smooth and brilliant colors. Fast graphic response! It is not for average use, or at least wouldn't get the full potential of this monitor. It has a digital video input and HDMI cables included. Playing feels like looking the game through a window not a monitor. It has several presets and quick access buttons on the back.

Still going good after 1 year. Used it with XBOX One X for a few months. 1440p 120hz and PC RGB colors better than cheap 4k living room TV. Got a Series X back in December and almost shat myself playing some games in 120hz 120fps. Low input lag and response times just as professional reviews pointed out. But as good as it sounds, REMEMBER, it is IPS so the contrast and brightness is abysmal. Yes, IPS glow galore, gray blacks, dull grays, but for competitive FPS, you'll forget it. Red color is oversaturated and I couldn't get red to balance in custom so I stuck with FPS or MOBA/RTS setting and lowered saturation. No HDR for Xbox because this monitor does not do (fake) 4k 60hz upscale. Even if it did, HDR probably won't be much better than SDR. 1-star deducted because this monitor should no longer be at this price. I got it for $299 on sale but now in 2023, all the other 27" 1440p monitors from Asus, LG, Samsung, Benq, have dropped below $400.

Gonna try to keep this short but provide enough quality info to hopefully help someone who is considering buying this. It's IPS, flat, 27 inch 1440p and 165 hz. If you have a gpu capable of pushing this monitor then go for it. My only complaint is the contrast ratio isn't the best, I went into this knowing what I was getting into. It uses an LG panel and they are known for mediocre at best contrast ratio. Expect around 900:1 contrast ratio, 340 nits birghtness, the HDR for me was useless, great input lag and response times. 6.3ms response time at 165hz 7.4ms response time at 120hz Input lag at 165hz 3.7ms Input lag at 120hz 4.8ms Theres no ghosting or black smearing. For me IPS is the only way to go as it feels like a jack of all trades and a master of none. For $300 on sale this monitor is awesome. You won't get dark blacks like a VA but you get no smearing You won't get 1ms response times like a TN panel but you get way better colors. You won't get insant response times like an Oled but you won't et burn in. This is a great monitor for the price, I don't regret getting it at all. Paired with a 5600x and a rtx 3080 I'm very happy with it

I bought this when it was on sale for nearly half off and boy was I impressed with the quality. Even at its retail price I wouldn’t have anything to complain about. It has great image quality with no blur or smearing and handles high refresh rates with ease. It does reauire a bit of calibration to get accurate colors , but the built in profiles still do a good enough job. The built in USB hub is a great feature and helps condense cable mess. 10/10 would recommend. Much better than my old MSI that i picked up a few years back for a similar price

I bought 2 of these to set up a work station at home, and i have to say, they look incredible. The resolution is crisp, i have no problems with flickering etc. i dont use them for gaming purposes so this review might not be for gamers. For office and development uses, this is just right for me. The only down side if i had to pick is the LED lighting on the back of the monitor- i wish we could adjust the colors, because the default blue light doesnt fit well with my interior decor.

I previously owned Dell's S2716DG and absolutely loved it. When I upgraded from a 2070 Super to a Radeon 6900XT, I wanted to upgrade my monitor to have FreeSync as well, as my old monitor did not support it. I picked this up as it checked all the boxes and then some, and I have not been disappointed one bit. The HDR might not be perfect, but it's a huge upgrade from what I came from. The colors are incredibly vibrant and the 165hz is icing in the cake.
