Patrick was excellent to work with. He helped me review the software requirements for my grad school program and explained to me how different computers had different advantages. He was extremely patient!

just setting up this laptop. Not sure I like the white lite up keys. I don't see the letters with the light on and the pad is alittle different than i am used to ie delete beside power button. I also noticed i need to tap the key pads alittle harder. Could do another review after more use.

Purchased for my college student. She has been very happy with this computer. No issues to date. Good choice if your student is going into the Engineering school at their university.

Hard to give a true review so soon. However, base a on the ingredients (i7, graphics card, etc.), it should be a great system. A few months of rigorous use should tell the true tale of the Dell tape.

This computer had so many options than my previous one. One thing, it is a business computer more likely I purchased it as a gift for my spouse. She loves it.

Not sure what to think at this point.... Having issues with freezing up, inability to connect to many simple everyday pages, the fan runs almost constantly AND I am so far unable to reach Dell Support because it tells me I already have an account set up so I need to request PW reset, so I reset the PW and try login and it says this page cannot be reached...... over and over and over again. So frustrated. I really want to love this pretty laptop and for $2300, I feel it should not be this difficult. I haven't given up yet,,,,, still trying.

umWOWreALLY,
Thanks so much for your recent XPS purchase. We're glad that you are still working on improving your computer's performance. If you'd to troubleshoot the system freezes that you're experiencing you can try these steps:
1. Run a Computer Diagnostic. To determine if your computer is experiencing a hardware problem, run the Dell Preboot System Assessment (PSA) Diagnostics. For information on how to run Diagnostics, and to determine the issue, refer to Dell Knowledge Base Article: http://dell.to/2iaiujA. 2. Check Safe Mode for Symptoms. To boot into safe mode, please follow the instructions below: a) Start the computer. b) Tap 'F8' on the keyboard immediately and every one second until the Dell logo screen disappears. From there you will see the Windows Advanced Options Menu on the screen. (If the Windows Advanced Options Menu does not appear, restart the system and try again.) c) Select Safe mode with Networking and press Enter. d) Log on as the administrator or as a user with administrative access. e) Open applications and test the computer in safe mode. If the symptoms exist in safe mode, please continue the troubleshooting steps in this article. If the symptoms do not exist in safe mode, the issue is likely related to a driver or software and you may wish to complete step 3 to see if you are able to resolve the lockups or freezing. 3. Check for Malware. Malware (Virus, Spyware, etc.) can definitely cause a Windows system to lock up or appear to hang. To check for malware on your system and to ensure that your computer is up to date on security software, visit Dell Knowledge Base Article: http://dell.to/2wWP1zI.
