I am very pleased with this receiver. I have owned several Denon components over the years, including an AV receiver that l had for about 25 years. The setup was easy, step by step and thorough. The included microphone to help in the calibration of the receiver for your listening environment is great. I have an Apple TV, a blue ray player and a turntable, and all work perfectly. I have a 5.1 speaker setup, but have the option of adding 2 more in the future. I think the 1800H is plenty of power for an apartment or small home environment. I will continue to put it through it’s paces, but after 3 weeks, I am thoroughly pleased with this receiver.

Easy to set up using the on-screen prompts, flawless sound output to all speakers. I setup as 5.1, but this AVR allows for full expansions as needed. The sale price clinched it for me - replaced an Onkyo that did not touch this for the sound!

I like it, it works with the app, easy setup. Good option in this price range.

This receiver was a replacement for an older model. Loved the sound quality, but the HDMI OUT board went out the first 6 weeks of ownership. The best part was Denon replaced it at no charge once I took it to an authorized Denon repair location. I love it with my 7.2 system, the sound quality is amazing, and I love how Denon took care of the issue right away. Love the product, and the service. This is my 3rd Denon receiver in my home. Highly recommend

Provides excellent sound quality, with ample ports for CATV, Roku, and DVD and Blu-ray carousels. It also works seamlessly with Home Assistant and Alexa. Denon provides documentation and tools that make installation and configuration a breeze. This device also plays well with our LG OLED TV's eArc port, something our older Denon model did not do.

I exchanged a Sony STR AN1000 AVR to get this AVR instead. Lets just say for pretty much the same price, i am way happier with the Denon. I am running a 5.0 setup. Movies sound amazing and Music sounds great in stereo. Works perfectly with my Sony Bravia x90l TV, PS5, nvidia shield and Switch. I would consider this the high end of budget AVRs and would highly recommend.

Very happy with my new Denon AVR-X1800H receiver. It simplifies all my wiring, and provided a vastly improved audio experience in my living room.

Was able to scale down to 5.1 like my previous system which will support all the speakers I have. Also supports 8K tv I purchased last year.

This was a keeper. Excellent entry level AVR. Denon builds very good sounding electronics. It also has all the features (4k/8k imputes) that I needed including the ability to select the speaker (with no subwoofer) system I have. The online manual was very helpful/descriptive.

Powerful and crisp, the 7.1 blows your mind especially in an action movie. It was easy to set up and to operate. This is my first Denon A/V Receiver and glad I made the decision to go with Denon.

What an upgrade from my last receiver? Much more features available to work with? It was sales person recommended?

Nice look to this component. Easy to use the remote to toggle between options.

The controls make this very simple to use. It works flawlessly and does everything I expected. The sound is really sharp, whether the volume is low or high. I was planning on moving it to my shop but started by testing it in the house where it is going to stay.

This receiver has the power and features to handle a home theater system. It is relatively easy to set up and the controls are very easy to use. I would purchase this item again.

This was purchased to replace a Denon AVR-X2700H, which no longer played well with our LG TV. Both were the same age, by several WEB OS updates to the LG TV rendered the handshaking between the Denon and TV sketchy at best. The new AVR-X1899H supports HDMI 2.1. I'm not absolutely sure that this was the problem, but everything works well together again. We don't play loud music, and so the slight decrease in output per channel is not noticeable.

Excellent sound. Like the app for control. Would buy again
