Stopped working blinking red light

Not on or inclosed on a book shelf, has sufficient space for air. Has ita own center piece. I shut it down, remove all speaker wire and it still wouldn’t come back on. WOW!!!!

Posted .Hello. Sorry to learn of this inconvenience. If breathability isn't an issue (minimum 6" clearance above the AVR-X1800H), an AVR is most likely to shut down if there is a stray strand of speaker wire either at the speaker or the AVR rear panel end shorting something out (always worth re-doing all your speaker connectivity if you have this symptom), or it could be the speakers in use offer too great a load for the AVR in use.
