Even if you haven't played the first two Diablo games you'll still fall in love with Diablo 3. You can create each character with endless amounts of weapons and armor you find and collect throughout the game. Though the gameplay graphics aren't always the best the cut scenes are amazingly beautiful. If you've ever play Gaunlet Legends and enjoyed it you'll love Diablo 3 even more.

I always loved the Diablo series and this was a steal for the price I got it. Blizzard Entertainment never ceases to amaze me and always delivers with so much content and easter eggs! If you live for RPGs this is a must have!

Great dungeon crawler game where you can have a lot of fun playing cooperatively without having to take it too seriously. Hack and slash your way through story mode and adventure mode solo or with a friend. Even older kids like my son can easily learn to enjoy and conquer the challenges of this game.

This is the best version of the Diablo series. Let me begin by saying if you played Diablo 3 on Xbox 360, you wont see that much of a graphical upgrade, albeit there is one. The true gem of the PS4 edition is it is practically locked in at 60 FPS, making this game truly solid even through its massive hordes of enemies and great visuals. The difficulty system has been revamped and now offers new challenges and rewards to those who can handle it. My favorite part of this edition is gone are the days of four playthroughs to max out your level. If you challenge yourself with the difficulty meter, you can get through level 1-70 in one playthrough through the 5 acts. Act V is great and feels like a story in its own that somehow fits perfectly with the original four acts. The Crusader is a hybrid of the Barbarian and the Monk that uses a shield and acts as the tank character coop Diablo 3 characters may have desired. Diablo 3 is one of the most expansive and best valued, well written games with the most astonishing cutscenes of all time. The writing and gameplay of World of Warcraft meets the ease and comfort of consoles, and it is an absolute must for RPG fans. Oh, and did i mention four player online AND local Co-Op? Take note corporate game companies, people still want to see this, and Diablo 3 delivers giving Blizzard yet another gold star on their record.

Most pc games lose a lot of their gameplay quality when converted to console. Diablo 3 Reapers of Souls would not be one of them. This game does not lose anything significant on console. If anything there are many graphical and gameplay improvements from the PC version that make a new play through totally worthwhile. I had not played the expansion Reaper of Souls yet so the value of making this new purchase was definitely beneficial. The expansion is an awesome stand alone story and being able to play together with 3 more friends around a big screen tv versus a small computer screen is a big plus. Highly recommended for RPG action fans and those of you looking for a multiplayer game that is both challenging and rewarding.

Everyone has their preferences in games. I remember playing Diablo way back when and loving it. This game is no different when I comes to the love. The graphics and gameplay are excellent. The sound is superb, especially with a good headset. But what really makes a game is the fun factor and this game delivers. Some few might get bored and the action, but the story and the pickups keep the game moving and interesting. I couldn't imagine playing this game on PC with a keyboard and/or mouse. The setup on a controller is the best thing done to the series, in my opinion. I see myself pouring hours into this game. Definitely worth the money! Great job, Blizzard!!

I purchased this game for ps3 when it first came out & didn't much care for it to be entirely honest. I found the mechanics of the game repetitive & there seemed no real reward for playing. Fast forward to a month ago; I saw this game was on sale & thought, maybe if give it another go. This time around however I bought it for the PS4 & purchased a second copy for a friend of mine who was hurting financially. We started playing the game together & agreed to only pay when each of us was available to do so. The result has been equal leveling of our two characters & we've nearly beaten the game at this point. The mechanics haven't changed & it does still get repetitive. Having someone to play this with however has made all the difference. If you're planning to play this solo I would recommend The Witcher 3 instead as it's a more fulfilling single player experience. If you've got friends to play this with, the time you'll spend in Diablo 3 won't be wasted.

I'm a Diablo veteran having played all 3 Diablo games on the PC. We recently got a PS4 and wanted to try it out. I was worried how the controls would be on the console controller vs the PC's keyboard and mouse. The default controls are easy to use and "couch/local" multiplayer is really nice with no split screen mess. If any one in your party is lagging behind off screen they get teleported right next to you. The game is tons of fun and I would definitely recommend it, especially for multiplayer!

Being primarily a console gamer, I've always heard about but never experienced a Diablo game until this one. Diablo 3 plays similar to Gauntlet but with beautiful modern graphics, fluid controls, a bunch of special abilities for each character class to pick and choose from, endless loot, weapons, and gear to find, and a bland story with boring characters (but really, who's playing this for the story?). Diablo 3 is a fun, simple game to pick up and play, while taking real skill to master and stay alive in the later, higher difficulty levels. It's thoroughly addictive, and won't becoming boring anytime soon.

I'm glad I waited for the Ultimate Evil edition to roll out before I decided to buy this game. I knew what I was getting into prior to purchasing it and it's exactly what I expected. I've also played this on PC as well and I prefer the ps4 version more. This is a great couch game to play alone or with friends. The controls are simple enough for the controller (although you can't compare it to PC version, so don't.) and it's a blast to just relax and kill things on the screen. If you've played Diablo before you know what to expect. Those new to the game should definitely give it a try if you're into dungeon crawlers and co-op play on the couch!

I was looking for a couch game to play co-op. Even after being released years ago, Diablo 3 on PS4 still feels fresh. The feel is different than PC because it's more interactive. The game reminds me of playing Gauntlet Legends. Replay value is A++. We did find the campaign mode to be super easy even on the hardest unlocked difficulty. Everything gets better AFTER you beat the campaign.

This is a fantastic game! One that I've spent 100s of hours playing personally. If you have friends that play it also then it makes it that much better. It's a classic top down (god mode) view perspective game with lots of classes to choose from, and play styles. You have 5 full acts to play through with many missions in each to complete. It can be speed ran in under 5 hours, but it just has infinite replay value.

Have been a Diablo fan since the original (and having played diablo2 for about the past decade), I am a big fan. Now that they have patched and removed the auction house, this game is exactly what I waited a decade for. And the PS4 version is exactly what I wanted back in the D2 days. To be able to play for hours on end and not be hunched over a keyboard and mouse in an uncomfortable chair.

I have never played a game with as much replay value as Diablo 3 ROS. The game is constantly challenging with tons of difficulty levels and gear to collect. It has some great cut scenes and lore. Leave it to Blizzard to produce another gem. The game is great multiplayer or solo. I've traded this game in twice thinking I was done with it only to have purchased it for now a 3rd time.

Fantastic game! I hadn't played a Diablo game since the original Diablo on pc. This was such a step, and I had missed so much in Sanctuary. I enjoy the game so much, I purchased it on PS4, PC, and Xbox One. It's a really good port to the console. Blizzard keeps adding more content to the game, which gives it more play-ability after you've completed the main story line.

My wife got this and a second PS4 controller for me for Christmas 2014, and we've played the heck out of it ever since. Lots of content, enough variety in gameplay mechanics to justify replaying it, and a ton of cool stuff to explore together with two players. If you're a husband and wife, bond together via the wholesale slaughter of demon scum. It's fun :).

Hack and slash at its finest! Additional Act to complete and a new class to play as (Crusader - wears heavy armor and weapons). Lots of tweaks made to the game from Diablo 3. It is much faster to level up your characters. Awesome Co-op play and TONS of loot to find. You will not be disappointed.

I have never played a Diablo game, in fact I have never really played a Blizzard game (besides Hearthstone) until now. Needless to say, I instantly fell in love with this game. The art style is great, gameplay is great, story is great, multiplayer is great, the game is just fantastic.

I was a little afraid the control mapping would be awkward being to used to play on PC. However, the controls feel natural and easy going. The graphics look good and the game is pretty repsonsive. havent tried the local co op yet, but online looks ok.

It's identical in terms of story, characters, locations. They added a dodge roll with the right analog stick which the pc version does not have. Honestly after playing I wish they would add a dodge roll to the pc. Great fun!
