The game is not like the mobile version. But still a fun game

Like many, I waited many years since Diablo 3 for this to come out. Sadly, the wait was a let down. The game itself is great, the story and graphics are superb. The replay value is 0 for the wife and I. The problem is, the mechanics are repetitive. The dungeons are the same with the same layout and dialogue -- over and over and over. Blizzard caps the character development at level 100. After that, you can't keep developing the character. The wife and I loved playing through the game but now are like, what else is there to do. Blizzard is constantly patching the game, servers will freeze at least once during the game. It looks like Blizzard traded on the Diablo name and released this game before it was done. Paid money to be a beta tester. This would be a great $20-$30 game but for what they are charging, I expected more.

This is the best Diablo yet. If you have playd the prior entrys then you know what to expect but Diablo 4 brings many quality of life improvements over the last game and take the enjoyment of dungeon crawling to a new high. Mechanically the game is tighter than ever and doesn’t seem to need a ramp up to be at it’s best like we saw with Diablo 3 and it’s expansions that really made it what it needed to be. D4 is great right out the gate!

Diablo IV is an improvement over D3. The story is much better, but much darker. The reintroduction of the skill tree lends itself to greater build diversity. The open world and challenges makes it seem like there is more to do. It's not perfect and could use a few improvements. They should have included the ability for keyboard support on PS5 to make chat easier, not everyone can use a headset all the time. Overall though, a good time.

The game is really fun, and is helping me with my cancer and depression. No game has helped me find joy recently so coming from a guy who finds a hard time enjoying things Diablo 4 is awesome! I encourage you all to try it. It is my first time trying this series and games like this.

Just beat the main campaign last night and was expecting to get less interested but the looting mechanics and skill tree versatility keep the game interesting well past the story completion. Super fun with friends and strikes a good balance between the hardcore RPG elements of Diablo II and the more casual take on the genre in Diablo III
Its VERY dangerous to go alone. Here, take this...

A great mashup of the feel of Diablo 2 with mechanics and fluidity from Diablo 3. - while still presenting a completely fresh feel.
D4 definitely leans on the darkness vibe more than D3, which is perfect for the game. And so far the environments, enemies and boss fights have been so much fun with friends.
A great, long awaited continuation of the Diablo franchise. 10/10 -grab your friends.

I've enjoyed these types of games and this one is no different. Been a fan of Diablo since the first one and the graphics are only getting better. Story does get a little predictable but doesn't detract from the enjoyment of the game. Cut scenes are vivid and appropriate to the theme of the game. Plenty of side quests and challenges (to earn all trophies) to entertain for days.
