I have yet to make much use of this battery but have always had really good success with Digipower batteries in the past. I have only had this for 2 months. My past experience was with Digipower products over a 2 to 3 year period with excellent results.

I got two of these along with a wall charger. The batteries charged rather quickly. It is a lot more convenient than charging in the camera. Also have a spare battery now.

This battery came with a combo package with our Sony - HDR-CX330 HD Flash Memory Camcorder. I have had it over a month. It seems to perform as good as the Sony original that came with the camera. I don't know much about aftermarket batteries but this one seems fine. You might be able to find another brand that is cheaper that does just as good. I didn't get to research this one as it came with the package. I'd probably only buy it as part of the package or on sale. I'm not complaining about the quality. It is definately good quality.

Got this for an event I was planning on recording on my handycam. Worked well enough - charged it overnight and lasted about 2 hours. Would recommend if you just need a battery backup.

Used this for my mom's memorial service as a backup. It lasted as long as I expected it to after a full charge. Would recommend if you're in a bind for a backup.

If you enjoy filming but forget to load the battery each night, don't hit the road without this great little back up battery!

Great way of doubling the time I can use my video camera. It is small and easily attaches to the camera. I've been able to recharge on the camera and with a separate battery charger I have. Easy to carry and have with me whenever I take the camera anywhere.
