    This battery is about half or less the size of the one that came with my camera. It only lasted about 30 minutes while videoing. Was disappointed that it wasn't equivalent to the one that came with the video camera

    Good battery. It is listed to last up to 3 hours but only last about 1 1/2 to 1 hour and 45 minutes. I have never had it last nore than 1 hour and 45 minutes. The battery that came with the camera usually last an hour.

    My cameras is for much time with the batteries lithium ion and I can work for much time I don't need recharge again and again is a good good product for my camcorder .

    I got this backup battery for my camcorder. When it arrived I didn't think it would work, because it did not list my camcorder. But I opened it and it fit and was actually charged. Thanks to the Bestbuy folks who helped me get the right one!

    A spare battery must be carried at all times, if the installed battery runs out, the shutter doesn't close sometimes and of course you can't use the camera thereafter.

    It does it's job. It takes forever to charge HDR-CX230's attached USB cable, so make sure you plan your tapings well ahead! I plan to purchase a separate wall charger but haven't gotten around to it yet.

    This is an excellent battery to use in place of the original equipment. A much less expensive battery, but comes with a shorter battery life. I would buy another if needed.
