    Granted, it extends the life of my original battery, but it is very cumbersome. It's really hard to attach and detach. You have to squeeze the casing very hard to latch it, to the point where you think you'll break the snap that attaches it. Several times it didn't work. The camera never turned on or turned off and didnt record. I think it was a waste of money.

    This battery attached to my GoPro Hero 3 black, but apparently there is no Hero 3 case that will lock and hold the battery inside to the Hero 3. I researched, and not able to find any case big enough to lock over the top. I ended up having to use my Hero 3 waterproof case with the battery attached, but had to put a large rubber band to keep the battery attached, and hope it doesn't get wet on my fishing kayak.

    I bought this thinking I would be able to leave my camera on in between taking videos at races. First time I used it I got about 2 hours with it just on before the battery died. The gopro extended battery lasts way longer. I would NOT recommend this product.

    Box says it's for Hero 4, 3+ &3 but it does not fit into the original waterproof case that came with my Hero 3. Sadly will have to return tomorrow.
