The battery worked fine during the first charge but would never fully charge after that. The camera battery icon indicated that the battery was discharged. i returned it and will be using the new battery soon. i have this type of battery on other cameras and they have always worked fine.

I haven't had any problems with this battery pack yet, although it has only been a few months. Nothing about it has wowed me, but does a battery pack ever "wow" anyone?

I purchased this as a backup for my Olympus SZ12, thisbattery shows the same number as the original that came with the camera, but it is NOT! It has less mAh and the performance is really, really bad. After charging it for hours it lasted only a few minutes without even taking pictures, I just changed some camera settings. I returned it the next day, to buy an original Olympus for a little more at Dodd Camera around the corner. It is quite disappointed, since BestBuy carries the camera, but not the original batteries. Lesson learned!

Totally agree with the other comments. Bought this as a "spare" battery for our Olympus camera that we use on trips. I am now needing to buy a spare battery for our spare battery. The life on a Full Charge does not go past 50 pictures even if you don't use the flash. Spoke to the saleperson @ Best Buy and asked how long should the battery charge last - answer - 200 pictures. I'm getting 25% pictures - guess I should have paid $10 rather than $40..

Best Buy does not carry original anymore and carrys this garbage instead! This battery is sub par and i would not recommend buying one!

First there is no external connection to charge the battery. Second, the life of the battery charge is terrible. I can only get about 50 photographs out of a charge and that is half with flash and half without flash.
