Awesome video, easy to control

Cable to connect controller to phone is lacking, losing connection sometimes. EXTREMELY easy to fly and control. Has tracking features that work very well, following or profile. Manual says can fly in up to 22mph winds, very stable even at 20. Had flight speed up to 33 mph. Has about 30 mins flight time per battery. Get the Fly More pack, a little pricey, tho. Also get the dedicated controller, also VERY pricey, but worth it to free up phone. Manual says takes up to 128Gb microSD, but I use 512Gb with no issues. 5 mins of 4k video is about 3.6Gb. I fly this as often as possible! Logged about 10 hrs of flight time in 3 weeks. Get the KittyHawk app to ensure you stay within flight limitations, especially if you're within 5 miles of airports or near stadiums.

Lots of options for camera settings and flight paths. Wish some of the various accessories that are recommended were included in the original package. Main negative is that the battery drains faster than expected (I have 3). And I have lost connection when flying over the neighborhood where I live, even only a half mile away at 200 foot altitude.

Software/ controller issues

There were also constant software updates the only seemed to make the connectivity issues worse. After spending several hours on the with DJI customer service (who were to say the least very unhelpful) I decided to return this item.

We are sorry that the firmware upgrades have degraded your experience with the drone. It may be that you had a defective unit. Other units have not seen this reduced signal, and the update merely fixed the bugs it was meant to fix.

Great potential

However, since then, have had some issues linking to the drone when out in the woods and at parks. Currently still trying to resolve.

Very upset with purchase

My purchase worth best buy was great

UNABLE TO COMMUNICATE

After spending at least 8 hours trying to get it to connect and simply fly I gave up and boxed it up and will be returning it to Best Buy

Good luck finding the drone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased two of the DJI Mavic Pro 2 and they do everything they say they will do however one big flaw. I have lost two DJI Mavic Pro 2 and 1 Phantom 4. When I went to have the drone take off in a clear area no building around it went up and 15 seconds later it was gone. The remote disconnected from it and never saw it again. Naturally some would blame this on being tethered to a phone but I tried a brand new phone the third time and 4 months later I lost my last Mavic Pro 2. I am not pleased with DJI customer support on this as they take no ownership over lost items. Do know that this is an expensive hobby but I am going to stick with the Mavic Airs going forward until DJI fixes there problems I can get two Airs for the price of one Pro and the quality of the photos and videos I have noticed are much nicer.
