Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the RSC 2 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer's ease of use and stability, frequently praising its smooth operation and ability to produce steady footage. Many appreciate the gimbal's weight and compact size, particularly its foldable design for convenient portability. While some wish for an included carrying case, the positive feedback on features like battery life and advanced functionalities outweighs this minor concern.

I have finally found a gimbal that can hold my Sony a7riii with a 24-70mm lens. It’s crazy how far gimbals have come, it’s so buttery smooth. Build quality is sturdy and strong.

I purchased this to use on a Nikon Z6 ii with a 24-70 f2.8 lens sadly it is just under powered. To be fair the unit works amazingly when not using a zoom lens bit the moment you zoom at all it starts buzzing and throws an error. The RSC2 is the smoothest gimbal I’ve ever used even with a larger camera and lens mounted on it. The menus are easily accessible and the app worked great no dropping or lag. DJI did a great job on this unit I actually like it better then the RS2 but the weight is an issue for me and I had to jump up to the larger unit to work my setup.

Initial impression is this is a well built, high feature, camera accessory. The ability to control remotely using my phone was an unexpected surprise. I'm still learning how to use it effectively and remembering all the controls. The battery holds a charge for a long time which is a nice benefit. I just wish the battery was a user serviceable item, to be able to replace when needed.

This is a great gimbal. I am just getting into using it so the review isn't complete. Problem with gimbals this size is how quickly you can balance them. It's not terribly difficult but it does take some time to balance the camera on it. I use a lot of DJI products and wanted the learning curve to be as short as possible. Functionality is pretty similar to other DJI products like OSMO and Pocket. Kind of bummed that DJI software is super buggy with Pixel 6 pro (c'mon DJI!)

This gimbal works beautifully with my a7iii and 17-28mm Tamron lens. It balances easily and the battery lasts all day. The full size Rode mic that comes with the studio boom kit bumps against one of the axes but I’m certain the gimbal motors are strong enough to handle the rode mics made to mount on top of cameras. I haven’t tried to operate it with the vertical battery grip but will update the review when I do.

bought this kinda of on a whim and love it it is very user friendly and comes with anything you need to attach it to any kind of camera. it fits most lens I have however I can not use most of them on it as it theroughs of the center ballence as they are telescopic. recentleyy bought a 16 to 35 mm internal zoom lens and it works amazing.

Excellent quality, but does not come with a phone holder. DJI OM 5 was too small for the iPhone 13 Pro Max and this one requires another accessory to hold a smartphone… So, no current DJI products do not natively support the iPhone 13 Pro Max, unless you buy more parts for the DJI RSC 2, or want to risk overheating the DJI OM 5… Read my review on the DJI OM 5.

Unbelievable stability. I'm far from a pro with my knowledge of this product, but I continue to research and attempt to grow my knowledge of the configurations and different kind of shots this can provide. For a camera and lens lacking image stabilization, this is a life saver. It's one heck of an investment, but your videos look like movies coming out of this.

I used whit gimbal with a Sony a7iii and both a Sony 20mm 1.8 and Sony 85 1.8. I used in Flagstaff when there was deep snow and the footage is super stable. Had no issues at all. I really liked that the cable to control the camera is included. I was able to start and pause recording with the controls on the gimbal without needing to touch the camera.

I tried the Zhiyun equivalent and feel this is superior for my needs. It will handle a pretty heavy mirror less camera and lens. Makes your vids pretty harm great even for a novice. Several add on accessories are also available. Use it on a Sony A7M4 with a 16-35 lens and a 24-106.

    Solid Gimbal with some drawbacks...

The DJI RSC 2 is a solid 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer for your video needs. It is well built, has an easy-to-read screen to see what mode you are in, and easy to calibrate for your camera. The dials and buttons are easy to reach and manipulate. Going from standard to briefcase mode is done quickly with the unlocking/locking dial. Each motor is beefy and the locks for each one are very secure. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the battery is not replaceable but built into the handle. If anything ever goes wrong with the battery you are out of luck. Other than that it is a worthwhile investment if you are looking for a gimbal that has solid build quality, and easy to use.

We purchased this as a secondary back up for our Ronin RS2. Highly recommend as a great alternative to the RS2 if you are using a lighter weight, smaller camera and don't need the touchscreen. Functions beautiful and we have never experienced any issues with it.
