Good but has design flaws

However there are some flaws. The portrait mode is kinda wonky. you dont have much control once it goes in portrait mode and you have to hold the gimbal at an odd angle. There is a way I saw on Youtube where you have to kinda the gimbal apart and put it back together in a weird way to get more control but thats annoying and just a big design flaw. Another problem I have is that after a while, the record button on the gimbal stops working and I have to turn it off and recalibrate it for it to work again which is very annoying. Other than those things, I would say its a good gimbal.

The RSC is a great solution for most creatives.

The setup is easy and the joints have locks on them so you can get one balanced, lock it and balance another without having to straddle the whole thing. This gimbal stabilized my a6400 and my a7r iv with the 24-70 2.8. So, the RSC can definitely handling heavier setups. I would recommend this.

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So far upon opening have noticed that it's bigger and heavier than the Ronin-SC, but it looks nice and am hoping it will support the heavier 50mm RF lens on the EOS-R a bit better than the Ronin-SC. Hoping that I will be able to swap batteries and memory cards without removing the camera from the gimbal. Will try to update after filming a wedding with it this weekend.
