Great to have this classic on 4k. This Arrow release is very nice. Comes with a strong cardboard box, a perfect bound booklet and a two sided poster.

This film is incredible. If you like movies that you have to watch over and over again, and that it sticks in your mind until you figure out what was that you just experienced (like The Butterfly Effect, Midnight Special, or 2001: A Space Odyssey), then this film is for you. Jake Gyllenhaal gives one of the best performances of his career, and his character is so iconic, and always says the right things at the right time, that you are able to immediately connect with him. Truly a cult gem

Gorgeous packaging and excellent movie! Arrow video releases never disappoint. Nice hard box sleeve type casing where disc and case slip right in along with a booklet of movie. Great addition to the collection.

This was my first time seeing the movie. Honestly, I didn’t like it. Did nothing for me. Also.. the Theatrical cut has some issues with it skipping and judder. Not every player does it, but a lot of people have had the same issue. As far as the PQ, that also didn’t look very good. Very grainy and no where near 4K crisp. It looked like I was watching a “ DVD “ most of the time. Arrow is aware of the issue and is looking into it, for a possible replacement disc. I will give the Director’s cut a shot, but as it is right now.. this is a one time watch and should have put the money else where.

Finally this a excellent set! Arrow Video did it again, The movie looks great in 4k and all of the other treasures in set are fun little treats!

Great packaging from Arrow but horrible transfer. If you already have last year's boxset i wouldnt double dip.

I ordered the Limited Edition of Donnie Darko that comes with a booklet, photo cards and a poster. My order just came with the 4K. I want the version that was in the picture on the Best Buy site. Customer Service was dismissive and told me to contact the manufacturer for their mistake. I want the right version.

Arrow Films did great with this release. Director approved 4k scans of theatrical and directors cuts. Both disc have extra content. Box set is amazing. This got me into movie collecting.

Nice Arrow Video transfer- nice improvement over previous blu ray releases. Be aware this the theatrical cut only.

I loved this remastered version of one of my favorite films. The original blu ray is really horrible looking and Arrow Video did an awesome job with this. I was just disappointed that it ididn't come with a sleeve cover.

Great film that definitely has a cult following nowadays

Great classic movie, there getting hard to find and cost a lot of money but worth it.

I am removing one star due to the necessity to replace one of the discs through an online exchange program. The theatrical cut disc may not work in every 4K player, resulting in freezing and frame jittering. Luckily my issues were very minor and I was able to watch the movie in its entirety, and it looks great in 4K. People may be taken aback by how dark the film looks, but it has always been a dark film, so nothing is changed. The black levels are amazing in this film and it has a very filmic quality. The sound works very well, and the extras are plentiful. Arrow has done another great job with the visual and audio quality of their releases. It’s just too bad that the theatrical cut has to be replaced. However, there is no charge for that, so I can forgive it.

You should already be familiar with this film is you are willing to spend money purchasing a physical copy. That goes without saying. The product quality was as expected. It works, well, and is fairly priced by Best Buy. The purchasing experience in-store was very convenient and ran smoothly. To sum up, I would recommend buying this film from Best Buy, to anyone interested. I would add, however, that this was an unexpected purchase for me. I saw it on my way through the checkout line, priced for almost as much as a bag of candy, or some other unhealthy snack, so, being familiar with this film, I bought it. I am very glad that I did. This is one that deserves to be in any film lover's Blu-ray collection, and the price is very fair at Best Buy.

Not for everyone, but a cult classic for many. Need to watch it more than once. Reflects some of the culture of that time, but also relates to some of the current culture wars. Creative storyline with interesting subplots. Great cast. Special collector set, comes with many extras. Contains both the Theatrical and Director's cut. NOTE: Arrow Video did not correctly manufacture the Theatrical disc, so it will not play correctly on some players (including my Panasonic UB9000). Arrow is aware of the manufacturing problem and is re-manufacturing replacement Theatrical Version discs. Replacements might be available later in June 2021 at no charge (proof of purchase required). Best Buy is always my number one choice to buy movies from and with releases like these it’s makes it even easier. I love the easiness of buying online as well, it’s become so convenient and made buying even more enjoyable. I can always count on Best Buy for new release and getting them on time when I order online. The app is even quicker and easier which I always recommend to anyone! The release was so well done and couldn’t be happier with it, not one complaint from me! I look forward to more like this from Best Buy. There was so many extra goodies included as well and I loved it! The film looks amazing!
