it sucks really good! powerful, almost to powerful. different feel than old vac, attachments were a little awkward at first. overall the vac does a fine job once you adjust to the design.

Firat of all, it is L O U D!!!!!! I've been a dyson fan (i also have their fans) for the last 20 years and this is my 3rd dyson. By far the best suction but also the cheapest plastic ever! I would not recommend this at full price but for 5 year warranty and maybe a 50% off sale this is a home run!

Vacuum works great. Almost too great though depending on the quality of your carpet. The carpet we have upstairs was a bit shot and vacuum sealed too well causing it too be too difficult too push and made it overwork itself. However, once we got new carpet in it was great, still a little less maneuverability than the average vacuum but this is for deep cleaning so that’s to be an expected trade-off. I’d do research into if this vacuum will work on your carpet before buying but otherwise it’s the quality you expect from Dyson.

I have mixed feelings. Suction is great. It sucked so much out of my carpet that my carpet felt soft. Even the hand held tool took my matted carpeted stairs and made it fluff up again. I think the tool was really for furniture, but great for stairs. The vacuum is heavier to push, but not horrible. I would not recommend for those who have weeker arms. The hose does expand a lot but kind of awkward, might get use to it. The cord is extremely long which is awesome. Wish it had a better carrying handle, nervous bringing up and down stairs cause can only carry by the canister or by handle where the hose detaches. I will keep this vacuum cause of the suction and hopefully i will get use to it and learn to like it better

The suction is very good on this dyson upright. I purchased it because years ago I had a dyson and it was amazing. It seems that many of the parts are not as sturdy. The canister and button that you push to release it are not as sturdy as my previous one. Be careful when locking it in place. It has to click, or the handle will fall back down.

Works as advertised. Lots of settings and additional attachments.

Like but seems a little heavy for me as senior over 72 and decreased muscle strength. Like larger canister and ease to empty.

We have been very happy with this purchase! Our last Dyson lasted for over 15 years! This vacuum has a lot of suction, so we are able to get all of the dirt and grime out of the carpet!

It works really well, it has amazing suction and maneuvers really good. I would recommend it.

I do love Dyson vacuums, and I have one currently that I have owned for about 30 years. I was looking to get this vacuum as a replacement. However, disappointed in the cheapness of the wand and inconvenience of having to disconnect the two parts to use alone. While it did pick up wonderfully and has great suction, along with ease of maneuverability, I did not like the flimsy feeling of the handle or wand when you consider the cost of this vacuum

Works amazing and easy to use, fairly straightforward setup but definitely not good for thin area rugs the suction is so great it pulls the carpet up and you cannot move

This vacuum is great the suction grabbed all the hair that my dogs leave around, but it’s very loud when on and hard to move around because of the suction and my home is small so I don’t have anywhere to store it.

Does what it stated. A little heavy. Easy to clean.

always been a Dyson guy since the first time I purchased one 16 years ago, just get better. So when I saw this for 1/2 price I could not pass it up

This last Dyson purchase was part of a wedding present for my granddaughter. She is overjoyed with it's performance. I have one also and a cordless one for convenience. It is powerful and I like not having to buy bags to collect the dirt. Using the attachments and hose takes a little getting use to. The majority of my home is carpet and it works great keeping my home clean. My granddaughter has wooden floors and she is overjoyed with the performance.

Great suction power. I had one dyson ball for fifteen years, started making loud noises and decided to get another dyson. No regrets so far.

Works great! It was easy to put together and it gets the dirt out of our carpet better than our other vacuum did.

This is our second Dyson. The first one lasted about 8 years. This version has better suction and weighs less than the last model. We do not have pets, but high carpet traffic. This item works very well. The canister holds 50% more dirt than the last model. Only drawback is assembly instructions are not great and no instructions on how to arrange the attachments to the unit. Went to You Tube for the answers.

Well what can i say besides it works and does exactly what our older one was beginning not to do. This one is just as powerful as our last pet version one. Hope it lasts for 10+ years like our older one.

This is a great vacuum cleaner. Works well and picks up everything. It is a little heavy, but other than that. Good stuff. Made of plastic. Knocked one star because of the weight. It is a workout.
