the good: it has a decent picture. It fits behind the license plate, so as not to shame your license plate by fitting on top of it. License plates consider that type of camera to be their version of a fanny pack. The bad: No infrared so you can tell if people behind you are living, or perhaps walking dead. This would make it easier to thwart end-times the undead will surely bring.

An excellent backup camera for 2012 Prius. This really made my Prius easier to drive.

It is a great product.It just exactly like the backup camera on my 2015 Toyota Camry and 2019 Toyota Highlander.If you have an old car don't worry just rush to best buy oakdale and ask for Sean he will install this and you will not believe your eyes that as you shift your transmission to reverse it automatically show you your rear via your car player or radio set. Kudos Sean for a job well done .

I installed this bad boy on a 2014 Subaru crosstrek premium trim (no navigation). I had just replaced the stock radio with a pioneer DMH-2660NEX. The instructions seemed simple enough- plug the yellow AV pin into the back of the radio and wire the power and ground into the reverse light wiring. The problem is that after I did just that I could power the camera but the HU did not recognize that it needed to turn the camera on when the car was in reverse! There are 2 red wires on extending from each side of the video cable that the instructions completely overlook. I could find nothing on the ECHOMASTER website regarding these wires. Maybe an experienced installer would have quickly discovered the solution to this problem but the lack of instruction was extremely frustrating. To those trying this install on their own just know this- one red wire plugs into the Head Units reverse signal wire and the opposing wire plugs into “power”. I wired Mine into the same reverse light power as the other wire. The instructions do say that “a relay may be required for some vehicles”, but have no vehicle specific instructions on how to do so. I also needed about 12ft of extra wire for this install for my mid sized crossover not provided in the kit. The camera is speeded and performs well in low lighting so now it is installed I appreciate it. Perhaps it is simply not designed for installation by a layman but for a “Best Buy” consumer product I would have expected better.

This back up camera is great. The active safety guides are awesome. Very clean display with sharp colors and image quality.

The quality of the video is good in day or night. The park assist lines are there and move with the vehicle. Definitely worth the money.

This camera works pretty good, the picture is good, although, I’ve seen better picture in other backup cameras. The Gudelia lines are twitchy. At times when you don’t turn the steering wheel the lines still move as if you are.

This camera has enough quality & clarity to work fine for my needs. Easy to install also.

The camera works well. I required a camera that does not block the state name on my plate and this did just that. My only negative is that is not real sleek! Its a square box that is pretty easy to see. As far as function, it works well and I'm happy with the performance.
