Very Small
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very small and specs do not match as written. There is no way the ice bucket holds 2.6lbs. This bucket fit inside my old ice machine which is 2.2lb and there was about 1/3 space left.

Short-Lived Ice Maker

I contacted Best Buy's customer support online and was told to take the ice maker into my nearest store and they would be able to take care of it. I took the ice maker in only to find out the ice maker is being sold by a 3rd party on their website. Not Best Buy. Therefore, Best Buy could not help. They gave me the 3rd party's email address to reach out to. I am hoping I will be able to get it repaired or replaced, but as of right now the final outcome remains to be seen. It is very disappointing to spend $400+ on an ice maker and it stops working just a few months into the purchase. My advice, choose another brand, and make sure you are buying from Best Buy, not a 3rd party on their website.

Not a great machine

It made 1 batch of ice and then stopped working. I is not insulated so the ice melts and does not recycle. You have to have the machine close to a place where you can drain the water that accumulates at the bottom. Definitely not worth it.

I think we got a lemon nugget ice maker

Chose to buy this nugget ice maker vs others because of the ice capacity and the looks of it. Followed the instructions step by step. At first we were having issues with the tds measurements and changed to purified water which brought it down under the recommend levels. I noticed the water temperature never dropped below 70 degrees. Never got a batch of ice out of it. We Tried in multiple days and different spots in our kitchen. Had friends over for a night of hanging out and had then try and see if they could figure it out. Never worked for us. I believe we just got a lemon. Our other friends bought one for the fraction of the price of this one and they had no issues.

High Quality Water Needed to Run

These devices are very sensitive to water quality, so unless you want to purchase purified water all the time or install water filteration system, don’t buy.
