The material that it’s made of is all plastic, but don’t get me wrong so far it’s working like a champ. My daughter and wife have not turned it off since they received it. It does very well polishing stones. It’s definitely worth the $40 specially from a beginners standpoint.

By nature, rock tumblers are loud--and they have to run for days at a time. If you plan on using this, be sure you have a garage or basement to keep it in. I like the timer on this one.

I bought this for my daughter. We started the process. Unfortunately this has to constantly run and its very loud. We got to the 3rd phase and the thing just quit working. The belt is starting to come apart. I would suggest getting a more expensive one than this cheaply made product. This specific brand is a waste of money and not worth the time.
