Having gone through a plethora of web cams and not wanting to go into a mirror-less, Elgato hits a home run with the camera. Enough feature to make it versatile and HD. The bang for the buck is wonderful. It has a place in any studio.

I quite like it! Took me a little to figure out the settings, but it overall worked really well! Very easy to set up.

I actually like this version better than the 4K one, but I still returned it. Neither of the Elgato Facecams are very good in my opinion. They both need the software to look their best and the software runs very poorly even on higher end machines. This model specifically needs you to stay in a ‘sweet spot’ distance-wise to focus well and the color is just kind of weird. Can you adjust these things in the app? Yes. But as soon as you start making changes in the app, everything just gets a little bit wonky and laggy and generally just annoying. It requires you to be very well lit to look decent at all. TL;DR It works, but not well. Elgato is not a camera company, I wouldn’t buy their cameras.

For a starter, this is a preety good game camera, wide and clear, good focus.

This is webcam is better than I thought it would but was very hesitant when it arrive for there was some rattling in the device but when used it works like a charm.

I use this camera for streaming to youtube and virtual cam to tiktok. The elgato software is also very easy to manage and customizable for various lightings and filters.

Works really well and much better than my razor one.

Using proper lighting, with proper white balancing, this cam provides a darn good image. The best feature is NO auto focus.

great camera used these before I have dslr and mirror less bought this for my friend to get into streaming works great for him really good stuff always from Elgato even though they tend to be on the more pricey side
