great print quality, expecting to not have to buy ink for this until 2 years from now!

The idea of having ink tanks instead of cartridges is nice but the quality of this printer is not in the same league as my previous Workforce WF-3640. That printer just felt better constructed, sturdier. Also, it had more features, such as duplex scanning and a touch panel. While I haven't tried printing photos, I'd still recommend it based on the ink tank.

I've had this over a year and I decided to write a review, The tank meets all the specifications and works great. I will say it can be a little loud at first, but you get used to it quickly. I love not changing cartridges so frequently and adding ink is easy without a mess.

great product don't have to worry about running out of ink

I bought his to print photographs on plain paper. The photos did not have to be perfect, but they needed to show details. The colors are off, if you are printing photographs or even doing a color scan of a document the printing is very slow. I calibrated the machine, used it for just a few prints, came back a day later and the print has lines through it. Not sure if it just needs to be calibrated again, or if a nozzle is clogged. I don't do color documents, so I can't comment on the quality or print time for those. But if you are trying to do photos, I would not recommend this printer.

The Epson printer takes much less ink than our cartridge printer. It was easy to setup.

Final print quality is good. Print Speed is much slower than my HP8600 was.

I paid double for this printer. I used to have a hp printer with cartridges. I do like the liquid ink better. But this printer does not have advanced features of our prior printer. Now I have to flip the copy paper myself when printing 2 sided. Have to pay attention or you can really mess up how your documents come out.

Setting up was not easy. Read and followed the instructions, it would not connect wirelessly no matter what I tried. I had to eventually get a cord to connect. Did not pay attention to the set-up initially for ink so the color is off. Will have to try to redo this later when I have time. But so far I have enjoyed the printer.

I should have bought this a while ago. This really does get rid of the endless mess of cartridges. I bought another Epson and when they updated the firmware so I could only use Epson ink it basically made the printer too expensive to use. I bought this and with moderate printing levels are still around 3/4 full.

Very easy to set up. Clear instructions. Good print quality. Very happy with it.
