Epson eccotank is so much better than buying ink every 3 months. I don’t print alot either. The last straw was I got alerted that I needed ink and hardly printed anything that season. I went to get ink online and saw the eccotank promotion. Sold! 2 years of ink included in the box. Into my second month the tanks are still full. Ink is not liquid gold and paying like it is, is just dumb. The money I save not buying ink will pay for the printer in no time

Love this printer! It is easy to use. Clear print. Love that it will print both sides of page. What more can I say?

I love this item. I have done lots of black and color printing. I don’t have to go out and buy more cartridges. If pictures are clear and crisp. Does a great job. If it’s grainy or dark. Not a good idea. I only wish it had a feeder on top of printer. Also screen is small. Changing from paper to photo paper and back is a slight problem. Besides that it’s a great printer and I would buy it again.

My daughter needed a new laptop for school, got one at a good enough price that I decided to throw in a new printer so she didn't have to keep sending documents to my of LaserJet 5. This Epson produces clear, crisp monochrome documents, as well as offering vibrant color pages, scanning and copying function, BIG ink tanks that refill less frequently AND more economically! She's turning in higher-quality work with less work and lower costs. It's a winnder!

I bought the Epson printer because it was recommended by the sales person as an answer to the problem I had been having with my old printer. Since I didn't use the printer that often, the cartridges on my old printer would dry out and it seemed like I was replacing them quite often. The Epson printer uses bottles of ink which will never dry out. The quality print is great and I like the fact that I can see how much ink I have used.

Forgot how expensive ink is... Isnt it the same stuff they put in pens and give away for advertising... Well i guess if you drain 15 pens and put it in a plstic holder the price goes up faster then the Argentine rate of inflation... Well glad the asociate showed us the coat savings foe getting this more expensive... But long run money saver... With a page print of like 6.4 million pages or so per fill up of ink should work well... God bless America

The best feature about this printer is the ink system. You actually fill chambers with 3 colored ink bottles and one black. You can see your actual ink level through sight glasses. And ink longevity, I am still on my initial ink set up. My old printer would have gone through 3 sets of cartridges by now. It's like the difference between a model A and a brand new car. Both get you there, but... you'll never go back to cartriges.

Works great and the ink lasts long time. Very easy to set up and use.

Printer has extremely long lasting ink levels, up to two years with one fill. Was easy to fill ink wells, but some of the instructions were not easy to follow in set up instructions. And, the instruction screen is really tiny with difficult to read very small printed instructions. So far, once though the set up process, the printer is working without any problems. I recommend it.

Excellent. I have been using the printer almost everyday for over 2 and half years and still with original ink. So far only problem is if you do not use for more than two weeks then head cleaning is necessary to get a good print quality. Occasionally does not connect to the computer and necessary to restart. You pay more for the printer but save lot on ink use.

Got it because I am tired of the high price of ink for the claim to be better printers and then you find they aren't. I could buy a new printer for the price of 2 refills on my old HP. Checked the price of ink for this one and it is a lot less. when I make errors I don't get so upset about the waste of my ink and paper. Haven't had the time to really try it on photos or cards ect.

I bought this epsom ecotank printer for all the great reviews and because I don’t want to keep changing cartridges and having problems with an old printer. It’s so much cheaper in ink and will save hundreds of dollars , so essentially will pay for itself in the savings on ink cartridges. I could also have gotten it at Costco but there was an incentive to get it at Best Buy, a coupon and points .

This was a nice purchase. I needed a printer that uses bulk ink supplies since cartridges are used up too fast. The key here is to keep the nozzle clean using the units self-cleaning mode. Never had a problem with this printer. The print quality is excellent even on high quality pho papers. Epson keeps their drivers updated on a regular basis.

This All-in-One does everything and holds a ton of ink. With 6,500 pages of printing included out of the box, it's going to be a very long time before I need ink. When the time comes, even replacing all the ink is inexpensive (about $61) when compared to other printers. I very much like that the printer has an email address. I can email a document or photo from anywhere, and it prints out!
