Very happy with it. Easy set-up. Haven't used fax or scanner yet, but printer is easy to use, quick and quiet. Only problem is paper tray is so small most printed copies wind up on floor! Terrific price - $77!

so far i've had a brother printer cannon and h smart printers --this is by fat the best i dont have constant paper jam's from malfunctioning chips the ink is strong enough unlike the cannon where you can read it it responds right away--it many not have the ability to fax but i am pleased with its qualities as is-- the companies were too eager to start work after cov lock down to get the bugs out of their products --this i by far the best i've had a brother -cannon and hp smart tank the last was the worst print one page jsm and often not only no paper jam but it wouldn't start up again----so as to liking this printer it may be basic but it works which in today s world is an accomplishment

Based on my satisfaction with other Epson devices, I bought this to replace an older unit that has gone to printer heaven. I like the compact size and the print quality is excellent. I would have given it five stars if it had a 2nd paper tray, but I have other printers with that capability.

This was an upgrade from my HP home printer. This is a very easy set up. In fact, my kids figured out how to printer wirelessly without me showing them. It is fast and quiet. I am very happy with my purchasr.

Excellent printer overall! I got this printer at a sale price which was great. It works well and the ink is not too pricey. The setup of the printer itself was easy, but I strugged a bit on connecting the printer to my laptop. Mobile was simple with the app, but with my laptop I had some difficulties installing the necessary software and connecting them. Could've been just on me but I did eventually figure it out though, and now it works perfectly! I am a student so this printer is perfect. The images print pretty well but I mostly plan to use this for printing worksheets.

Epson is a brilliant name in making office equipments. This WF 3820 is features-packed, printing, scanning, copying, and fax. Setup is straightforward which is a breeze. the touch screen is very responsive and provides fluid navigation through other functions within 2.7 inches. Printing is fast and I was surprised how quickly the machine picked up the order of printing from the smartphone. Wifi setup is simple and easy through the touch screen besides Epson iPrint app on the smartphone is convenient to take advantage of other functions like a print from cloud storage services and scan using your smartphone camera. Simply, it is functional and great all in one machine..

Excellent home/office printer. Sharp vivid color photos. Clean defined print for all print jobs black/white and color. Easy set up, just follow the prompts and it walks you through the entire process. The on board display provides good information and easy to follow directions. The only thing lacking is a second paper tray.

I wanted to replace my HP printer as I didn't wanted to be held hostage to their ink / paper subscription scheme. Setting it up for my Mac wasn't too bad. It took about 5 minutes to set up to the WiFi and connect to the computer, There's several drawbacks: 1) The WF-3820 doesn't come with any software and drivers for Mac. They have to be downloaded from the Epson website and installed one by one. There's about four installations. 2) Once installed, the only program that seems to work is using Preview to scan documents to the computer. 3) While it does print on two sides, it does NOT have two sided scanning. There is a workaround. Scan odd side pages first, then take the scanned documents that are now flipped, reinsert them into the feeder, finish scanning, and then reorganize them by moving the thumbnails in preview. It's a bit of a pain but it does work. On the pro side, the document feeder works without jamming, printed documents come out very clean and fast, photos look solid, and the fax works great without interfering with my landline. For the price, it's a good value and less expensive than other online sites. But Epson could benefit greatly with better user friendly software to address the issues I mentioned.

this printer is fantastic. it prints pages really fast and had very accurate characters. it has good versatility and does not take up much space. four stars because it had a software problem and IT had to reconfigure some settings to get it to accept legal sizes paper.

It took me awhile to choose a new printer for my home office, and I ended up with this one. Pros: Paper tray holds a ream of paper and it tucks away into a drawer, so no exposed paper. Slim ink cartridges. Fast printing. Two-sided printing with no jams! Easy Mac setup. AirPrint/WiFi is printing easy between iPhones and iPad. Clear control panel. Scanner works well, the document feeder is a great feature and works. Cons: Even though when the paper tray is FULL, the printer says there is no paper. The paper tray is super sensitive for some reason, so I don't open it often, just fill and leave it alone. Off and on, the printer also spits out a blank sheet of paper for no reason. But these are not deal breakers. I do recommend this printer overall.
