Escort has continued on with the sucesss of their escort product line and the Escort IX ups the bar even more. Very accurate detection, very minimal false readings and Bluetooth makes this one of their best. Very happy with the performance. Works better than my 9500xi, which I also still use.

This is a terrific device, which is incredibly easy to install with its magnetic connector and windshield mount. It’s great at detecting “false” alerts—triggered by BLIS systems—and also alerting you, in advance, to red light cameras and speed trap zones. Worth every penny!

I've owned most detectors from escort since the very first one with the analog meter. I've always been happy with them. My last one was a 9500 ix, it was getting to where it falsed too much from the collision avoidance on new cars. I read and believed that this newer IX would alleviate the issue. At first I thought it was ok ,then my job changed from working at home to getting out in the regular flow of rush hour traffic. It was as bad or worse than the older one. You will get K alerts a lot. I ran the firmware and software update off the website and no difference I believe I was at the current version . If I had bought it from escort and realized in time to return it I would have. I expected more from Escort.

Took a long trip, and the Escort did exactly what it needed to do. There were a few state troopers out and the notification was early enough to prepare for the speed required. One small annoyance is the overspeed announcement. I'm sure I can change that in the settings.

I was looking for a good reliable radar detector to replace my old passport model. This one works well and over-warns me to slow down. False readings occur but they make me slow down as a safer driver so it's no big deal. Who's to say the detector didn't pick up a radar signal too far away to see?

This product is definitely worth the price! It's my second radar as my first one got damaged only after a year of use. Itv better to know you're awareness while driving, especially in cities where you're not familiar with. It tells you everything!

My 80 year old mom had trouble reading the speedometer in her new car. Dealer suggested this unit. Now she knows her speed easily and if she is a little fast...she will know. A WIn WINN !!!!!

This radar detector works great! Does short range and long range. Can sync with your phone and will tell you the MPH wherever you are. I finally found one that is worth the money!

So far im loving it. Has picked up radar signal from about 1 1/2 mile to 2 miles away nothing negative at all to say suction cup mount holds on awesome unlike some others ive had in the past

Used the weekend I bought and it busted all the cops we saw. Love that it tones down after first alarm and programs door alarms

This is a replacement from older one and is so much better does not have the annoying beep always goes to silence the red button flashes work well will keep this one.

I’ve owned a few, even the 360 max, this is best due to price and size. I have it hardwired into my car and it is narrow enough to not block my view mounted below my mirror.
