noisy and false front
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.VERY NOISY OPERATION. When we ordered it the store did not have a demo. The picture on the store computer showed a variable speed slide switch for the fan. BUT even though the model that came also has on its face a variable speed slide switch with "Low...High" positions to the side of the switch, just like the picture, it only functions as an on off switch. The fan is so noisy in the on position that a TV in the kitchen can only be heard with the TV volume raised to triple the usual volume setting.. Because of the fake varialbe speed markings for a slide switch that is only one speed and the extremely loud fan, I would rate this as a very expensive mistake for me.
