Sometimes these filters work, sometimes they don’t. They leak or just pop out immediately after new installation. Appliance guy at Best Buy is aware of the issue but claims that filters cannot be returned or exchanged once the package has been opened. He said the Frigidaire refrigerator that this filter fits is referred to as “the waterfall” in the industry, but the product has never been recalled. If you buy this filter there’s a good chance you’ll be throwing away $50. I purchased this filter 6 months ago to replace when the old filter (that works perfectly) reached a year old.

I really like the way that these replacement filters easily eject with the push of a button and install by quickly sliding and securely snapping in to place. They are much more convenient than twist-in style filters that sit there leaking while you attempt to wrestle them off. The water quality is also very good tasting and remains that way for a very long time. I notice no change in taste during their life, even long-after the recommended replacement intervals.

I have the Frigidaire refrigerator that takes this filter. My water is pretty hard with minerals and such and this does a good job of filtering those out. I drink a lot of water and use the ice maker, so this does well. Push of a button and the old one comes out, the new one goes in. Run a big glass of water through it and the charcoal flavor is gone. Wish it wasn't quite so expensive though.

I have been using these for over ten years and they provide a excellent level of water filtration. The price is very good at Best Buy. I bought extras because they are an old product and BB might not continue to stock them.

Good unit for Frigidaire; have used it since buying this type of fridgerator some years ago. Hope they don't stop making this type or I will have to buy another refrigderator.

This water filter is the appropriate replacement for my refrigerator. Inserts quickly without any problem. Works from 6-9 months. Wish I could buy in store, but product was delivered within a week of ordering.
