Very fast camera and super handy. A little bit bigger than my xt2 but the grip is much better...

I read a lot of reviews of this camera and decided to purchase one myself. One of the main reasons for the purchase was the quality of the pictures and the skin tones. They are amazing. I would be more than comfortable using this cameras for weddings, portraits, or even real estate photography, all of which I have done in the past. I did add the battery grip to triple the number of batteries the camera can use at one time, and it's great for people with larger hands. This camera hands down is one of the very best mirrorless cameras on the market.

I have been shooting with the XH-1 for a few weeks now. All I can say is wow.
I bought this as a replacement for an aging Canon 70d, and the new camera has been a HUGE upgrade.
The in body stabilization (ibis) is fantastic. I shot last night during a storm (did I mention the camera is weather sealed?). Shots taken at iso 6400 with the shutter set to 1/20 were tack sharp. That's 1/20 handheld! No way I could pull that off without the ibis.
There is tons of detail in the shadows, so lift to your hearts content.
I save in RAW+Jpeg, and I have to say, the jpeg in camera output looks wonderful. I am finding that I can often just use the camera jpeg as is.
Auto focus is good, but you need to spend a little time learning about all of the different modes.
4k video looks great, especially the Eterna profile.
Negative would be battery life, but if you add the vertical booster grip (I did) this becomes a non issue. Additionaly, add in the grip unlocks boost mode, which ups many of the cameras specs, such as EVF refresh rate and max burst, as well as adding a headphone jack.
I would recommend the XH-1
