This is a great mid-range mirrorless camera. Very customizable and a great camera to grow with, but also takes great images straight out of the box on "auto". I really look forward to growing with this camera and continuing to improve as a photographer.

I am still learning to use it, but here is the general idea. The camera is too complicated for an non-prosumer, but not complicated enough for a prosumer. I can see the possibilities, but there seems to be a decent learning curve. Also the little arms that hold the back screen seem to be flimsy. I bet the break or bend easily, but again I am still new to this camera.

Coming from a full frame canon dslr, im getting if not as good, even more “preferable” results. This camera is totally underrated. I would grab one now before these go out of stock.

I bought this from Sep, 2019. It still work flawlessly. A little hard to use at first, you will need to read the user guide to know how to use all the functions.

This was my first "real" camera, so I have little basis for comparison, but I am happy with the experience.

I like the old film camera look and it is more comfortable to carry during my travels, doesn't take too much space like the DSLRs.

A big investment for a hobbyist, but the product is a really great motivator for me to get out and explore.

I'm no professional, but I've toyed around with cameras for a while--mostly SLRs. This is my first mirrorless I've owned, but not the first I've used and I LOVE IT. It is incredibly easy to use, sleek, lightweight, and takes excellent photos. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone.

    A big disappointment

I bought the X-T20 with the 18-55" kit lens and another 35mm-equivalent prime lens a few days before my summer vacation. I loved the small size and the overall favorable reviews and lens choices. Unfortunately, I was in for a big disappointment. Halfway into my vacation, the screen started freezing / flickering and shortly thereafter it stopped working altogether. By "it" I mean the camera, not just the screen. Here I am, a week into my vacation with a brand new $1,500 camera (all-in), and its a brick. I called Fuji customer service and after being told to try a new battery I was informed that they "had done all they could" and that I'm stuck with a brick for the rest of my vacation. They were also quick to inform me that they "didn't sell me the camera, since they are just the service department". Way to own your issues, Fuji! I then emailed their service department seeking a solution but got some form response that directed me to the warranty info on their website. Again, great job Fuji for really caring about your customers! Upon my return to the US I returned the camera for a full refund. Anything to spare me having to deal with Fuji's simply awful service department. I would like to note that while the complete failure of the camera is the main driver of this review, it is certainly not the only one. Other issues encountered during my very short time with this camera: - Non-existent low light focus: I had read about this before getting the camera but didn't realize how meaningful the issue is. The focus "hunting" happens not only in night time but rather any time when the light isn't ideal. You end up losing many shots because of it. - Slow start-up: More often than not, if the camera went to sleep then I failed to wake it up in time to take a shot. Waking up from sleep mode generally involves turning the camera off and then on again, which means saying bye bye to those spontaneous shots. - Lenses: I feel the reviews of the 18-55" lens are too kind. I was unimpressed by the quality of the pictures. The prime lens was way better. My point of reference is my 10 year old Nikon D-80. All in all, this was a terrible ownership experience, and one that meant not being able to take pictures during half of my vacation.
