This scanner is used on a regular basis and during tax season scans 25-100 pages a time. The scanner rarely jams and holds up well.

This Fujitsu model replaced a couple of Canon scanners in the office. So far so good. The install was easy, and they are compatible with my organizations ERP software. Finally, the price was right, so I'm pretty happy.

I have not purchased the fi-7160 scanner. I do have the fi-6130 scanner which is a very similar though older version. I wanted to talk about Fujitsu's support of their products. Fujitsu provides better support of their products than any other manufacturer I have ever purchased from. They provide direct customer support at no additional charge and will take the time to ensure that whatever issue you have is fixed even if takes an extended amount of time to do so. I have called them several times as I have upgraded/replaced my computer in order to reinstall the drivers for my scanner. They continue to support this product even though it is no longer a current model. Their customer support is so superior that I would never even consider going to a different manufacturer to purchase my next scanner. Also, my scanner continues to operate flawlessly after scanning thousands of documents over the years. A quality product from a quality company. I can highly recommend Fujitsu scanners.

Good scanner Worth the price... sort of... Heavy duty but too many drivers needed

This is a great scanner, but it is obviously so expensive!
