Plenty bright for our covered patio and visible from pool on a sunny day. Remote control not always responsive, though I suspect this is related to Interference with sunlight and would expect with any IR remote used outside. Aluminum shell and waterproof door cover well made and though out. It’s a bit tight for Firestick using the short HDMI adapter and can’t easily close panel to waterproof. I’ll likely use a longer cable and keep Firestick out of enclosure (better to damage a firestick over the TV). 70 w Furrion soundbar provides ample sound for outdoor viewing and reasonable sound for streaming music. Furrion brand not known to Firestick so I can’t use Firestick remote to control TV. I can’t blamE Furrion for this, though perhaps they can facilitate an update through Amazon. Not really a criticism, though it may be helpful when selecting a TV. In general, I’m very pleased with the TV after 1 week. Considering the price difference compared to competitors, buy it without reservations.

Furrion 65” built for weather with bright picture

Great brightness and the product is built solidly. I wish the wiring cabinet had a little more room as well as one more HDMI input (we have sound ARC in one, fire stick and box in the remaining) but that’s certainly not a big issue. Brought the cover for extra protection. TV is under an overhang but clearly is built to withstand the elements. Technician from Geek squad was great.

TV Works and Looks Great

(LONG STORY, CRAZY STORY) But the TV itself is great. I have not been able to connect it to my DirectTV remote so still researching that. Picture and sound quality is great. If using for outdoor hanging out on the patio you will not need a soundbar. If you plan to entertain guest you may want to invest in sound bar to get a lounder richer sound quality.
