I have a Vantrue N2 Pro in my car. I got this because I wanted to be sure my wife had a camera. The video is fine. The lane detection was annoying, but you can turn that off. It is irritating when you drive in the right lane and every off ramp exit triggers the lane detection.
My only complaint with it isn't related to it; its the car. In my car, the power plugs are disabled with the car is off. In her 2010 Ford Fusion, that's not the case. We've drained the battery twice because we left the camera plugged in (we don't drive this car as often as my other car). Keep that in mind if your car doesn't disable the power ports either.

I bought two of these to put in the front and rear of my vehicle to capture things in front and behind me. It is good to have just in case of accident and there are any questions as to what happened. Also may be able to catch strange things like a Bigfoot(?).

Works good. Easy to set up. Works with a Garmin App to view, transfer, delete videos or still pictures. Needs a memory card. Clear videos. I like reviewing videos after my commutes from work when I catch someone driving like an idiot.

My wife loves the idea of having a dash cam. However, There are 2 cons here. 1. The screen blacks out while recording, no live view while driving. 2. You can only access your recording if you remove the Sd card or while connected via WiFi while in the vehicle. Otherwise, I’d give 5 stars.

I feel a dash cam is a necessity for protecting you when a accident occurs. Very high quality camera, and easy install in my car. Even offers a free app to view recorded video on your phone, so you don’t have to use a computer.

This is the camera you want if you want it affordable and easily configured. The video is very sharp, and it saves onto a micro sd card. I tried a handful of cameras and concluded that this is the best in its price range.

Nice product, easy to install and set up, with good video resolution. The extra option for collision alert, moving traffic and lane keep is really good add on The voice commands works really good.
The biggest cons are the connection between cam and phone which is really slow, so previewing the videos is really annoying (sometimes useless) and that sometimes the video storage have some glitches. The built in speaker is terrible (but you don´t use it frequently so is not a big deal).
AS the cam have a built in battery it should work (as much as battery last) to record external events when the car is parked, without the need of an extra $35-40 hard-wire conector.

Great picture and video quality. Camera is tiny and unobtrusive; and also the best way to protect yourself against the many idiot drivers out there. Definitely recommend!

Does what it is supposed to do well. The voice commands are a nifty feature. Easy to attach to the windscreen and take it off (using magnets). The cables can be a bit annoying though.

I used this dashcam on my vehicle everyday with my portable power bank. It works perfectly.
Pros - It detects your surrounding constantly, whether its red light camera, or nearly vehicle, or moving traffics, or even light movement (it will automatically save/capture pictures/videos).
The only cons that I have are full battery charge only lasts for an hour, and less when its a hot day. However, it still works perfectly fine when its charging constantly, and against the heat.
Another con is the video quality is decent than you think, but it still manageable.
Lastly, I used 128GB Micro SD Card along with it.

Bought last minute for a road trip and has great features. I especially like the lane departure warning. The forward collision warning can get a little annoying, but it is nice to have.

Even with the display off, it alerts you to lane deviation and traffic movement. The voice control is also a good feature. had three instances to record other drivers making less than ideal driving decisions.

Tiny dashcam with great quality. It came with two power cables, one long and a shorter one. I used the long one so I could run it under the headliner, no more hanging wire!

It works great but it is replacing a similar model that was just over warranty that sat in a hot car that blew the battery ... and Garmin won't sell you a battery that you can replace yourself. You can send it in and for half the price of a new camera plus postage, they will replace it for you. Might as well buy a new one, which I did. Moral: don't leave it in the car in the summer.
