GPS is easy to setup and use. Lifetime map and traffic updates. Nice size screen, well lit and easy to see. Clear voice, text to speech. Light weight, easy install on windshield.

This is a great product, my wife likes it so much she stole it and put it in her car and gave me her old one. Now I am going to have to buy another one! I've had about 7 GPS units since they came out and were $1k each. Garmin is the best and this is my favorite so far.

This is the 3rd Garmin GPS we have bought for our large family of drivers. It is easy to use and has a larger screen. I especially like the bell notification of school zones and heavy traffic zones in the distance.

This is our fourth Garmin, each one has been progressively better. This one keeps track of typical trips and gives an estimated time without needing to set a route. Warns of traffic and also accidents ahead of time. Really easy to read the screen. The lane assist is a terrific feature.

worked great after downloaded update. Demo mode has no setting to turn off you have to update then start driving. Don't know about traffic yet have not been south or north far enough to pick it up, but will update when I do. Own only Garmin wouldn't own anything but.3 for the cars, 2 for the boat.

Only had it for a few weeks, took it on a trip to San Antonio and it performed well. Not too much to say about it. It's been a good GPS, the hookups all worked fine in our Toyota Sienna. I reckon I'd recommend it! :D

easy to setup and update maps seems accurate and i like most of the features. screen is easy to read and find the information that is important. most of the features are easy to access

I was replacing an older Garmin that was not charging any more so I got this one. Life time maps and traffic was a plus and the price was very good on sale at Best Buy. I was able to easily import all my destinations was a couple easy steps I got from the internet.

This new Garmin GPS is fantastic -- being a Realtor® and not knowing all of the little twists and turns of Denver plus surrounding areas, this Garmin takes me the best route and isn't yelling all of the time when I make a wrong turn. The larger screen makes it easy to follow and the voice seems softer than the earlier models.

GPS proved very valuable in Dallas traffic and construction. Easy to set up, but the first download of a "new" map took hours. Like the est time of arrival. Printed part of manual to help with menu. Wish manual were included with product

I took my Garmin on a trip to the midwest. I stopped in Nashville at a friend's house in a remote location. The Garmin weaved me through Nashville and took me right to the doorstep. I was impressed with the accuracy and the helps such as "be in the left 2 lanes". It served me well.

Bought this as a replacement for my older Garmin. I like the bigger screen, sound quality, easy and intuitive commands, and reliability.

I was going on a trip to Toronto, Canada. Had purchased the Car Rental, but my current GPS did not have the maps on Canada. Read about this GPS on best buy, liked the idea that canada maps were pre loaded and it could show the lanes and exist signs on the GPS. This was a great help while i was driving in canada, since the gps accurately provided instructions and views of exists, helping me avoid last minute lane changes

This unit is easy to set up and fairly easy to use. It is very intuitive. The voice instructions are detailed and clear and greatly assist the user to find his/her way with minimal requirement to view the screen. If a turn is missed, the unit re-calculates the route extremely quickly, negating the need to slow down for it to catch up with the vehicle. The unit also has a very good, easy to use, trip planner. It allows the user to enter way points so that a particular route to a destination can be selected, rather than simply the "shortest" or "quickest". Unfortunately the trip cancellation feature requires two selections - one for the menu to bring up the cancellation feature, the next to actually cancel the trip. It is the same for cancellation of the voice. Each of these operations should be facilitated from the main map screen via one selection. The model I purchased had no Blue Tooth feature, so I was unable to use it to allow hands-free operation of my cell phone. For a low-priced unit with many features, you can hardly go wrong with this product.

An excellent product. I bought this after having used a similar model in a rental car for 4 days. It seems very well thought out, with lots of good features and a mostly intuitive user interface. I like its accuracy and the fact that tracks can be saved and exported, and geographic features can be imported. I also like the fact that (unlike in-car systems which have many features disabled for safety reasons while driving), your passenger can use the Nuvi freely. What I'd like to see improved is the traffic system. If you have a route planned, it can be hard to see the traffic on your route. Also I'd like a quick toggle between two preferred map views (perhaps a favorites button?) I like to occasionally see the route in its entirety when on a long trip or when venturing into unfamiliar territory. To do that from any other map view is far too tricky to do safely while driving. Highly recommended.

user friendly, but gave mis-directions on several occasions. Need to use directions in conjunction with a physical map and a sense of what general direction needs to be taken. took us on routes that were much longer than necessary on several occasions. Not sure why the bogus directions were given when a much more straight-forward route was simple to achieve.

I had an older version of the GPS system and it needed an upgrade and hence I was in the market for purchasing a new one. It is awesome with wide screen and also like the lifetime map and traffic updates at no charge.

Garmin has really outdone themselves with this NUVI 2557 LMT 5" GPS! It is much easier to see while driving than previous models...info at a glance without breaking concentration of traffic conditions! What I joy it is to use!

I will only buy a Garmin. My son had another brand and had problems with it. This GPS is very easy to use, bright and clear picture. I love how it shows a photo of the exit you are approaching. Love it and wouldn't be without it on a trip. Very simple to find gas stations and restaurants also. Takes the stress out of a trip!
