This Nuvi model is a lot faster than my previous Garmin GPS Phone, the self location while turning on is fast, also the route calculation. When missing a turn or freeway exit is fast in recalculating a new route. Good size of screen and good voice volume. Good for the price.

Good GPS for the money you pay for. Reliable, easy to use.

I was not sure this would be a good unit. But after using it a few times, I love it. Easy to use and the voice is loud and clear.It tells you way a head of time to make turns and what lane to be in . And if you miss your turn it will take you back to your route . Just enter the address where you want to go and it takes you there.

My old GPS a Magellan had crapped out and we were in AL. so we popped into Best Buy and picked this one up on the recomendation of the kid that worked their and it has been great so far... I would get another one or highly recomend this one.

This is the second GPS I've ever owned. This one is definitely an improvement with the side by side lane assistance. I don't use it a lot but when I do need one, it is really user friendly and easy to use. I would definitely recommend this for a beginner or someone not wanting something complicated.

I bought this unit because my tom tom was messing up. Just plugged it in in traffic and immediately the Garmin was showing the way! I would recommend this unit for anyone. Easy to use and accurate.

Nice up grade from my previous Garmin. Easy to program. large screen. Lots of options including changing arrival time to distance. You can even have it show elevation, which was kind of cool here in hills of NC. You have to program less use of freeways or it sends you on bumper to bumper traffic during rush hour. Just don't forget to reset when you start out again, or you will get some picturesque tours (like I did in Birmingham). Would buy gain

I previously had a Tom Tom which needed replacing. I am a little sorry that I didn't get another Tom Tom, but I am learning to use the Garmin and am sure I will be satisfied with it when I learn how to operate all the fine points. It seems I had to learn to use the Tom Tom when I first got it several years ago.

This Garmin is easy to use and very clear in its directives. It lets you know where the turns are in enough time so you can change lanes if need be.

This GPS is a good buy so far. Have only used it on one long distance trip so far, but it worked well. I love the big screen and the fact that it has lifetime map updates. I use the "quickest route" setting most often, but when traveling through urban areas, I'm not sure it actually sent us the quickest way. Some of it's directions differed from the "Maps" app on my phone and we knew the phone directions to be correct. Subtle differences that I'm sure I will get used to.

I was looking for an upgrade from the nuvi 200 series and this was perfect much better in everyway screen size, features, better maps and always very easy to use along with great quality.

It is not having traffic updates, that is one thing that you might pay a bit more for. Other than that, it works as expected, really easy to update the maps. Switches off automatically when car is turned off, and is easy to use. I would like to go for a GPS with traffic updates if you are a frequent user.

Bought this for my hubby for Christmas to replace his old one which lost all his contacts when I uploaded the new maps. He loves the larger screen (he's 76 and eyes not as good as they used to be). He said it works similiar to his older model so was easy to start using right away.

Have another older model of Garmin GPS which still works, but does not have the easy to manipulate use interface and maps as this one. This GPS is easier to use, easy to see and comes with the cables and window suction cup for mounting. No accessories are needed for auto use!

After having an older version for the past 5-6 yrs it finally died.But this was used in the car,truck and on the motorcycle for many trips(caught in the elements a few times) so it seen some rough use.Bought this model for a good price and am very happy with it so far.Only thing is it is a little large for the bike so I guess I"ll end up getting one exclusively for it.Larger screen is perfect for the car or truck though,many nice features,can't go wrong with Garmin

A GREAT device with A LOT of features on this GPS device. It helped me to save a lot of minutes on road. Very accurate and help me to find as well as be aware of the area even more with plenty of opinions or selection that I never knew. Reliable with traffic report too.

I previously owned a Garmin Nuvi and I loved it. Unfortunately, it eventually died on me so I had to purchase a new one. I had tried a Magellan and hated it. So I went with the newer version of my Nuvi and I am eve more in love. I love it even more then my phone GPS.
