I was trying to find a microwave that will fit in my kitchen to replace the old one that went bad. I couldn't find one in other stores they where to big. Until i found this one and it fit perfectly. The only thing is that the buttons light is not that bright. For somebody that can't see good. Other than that good microwave.

One thing to watch out for is that just because you had a GE microwave before, it doesn't mean that the holding screws will be in the same location. I found out the hard way. May sure you double check the location of the screws. The holding plate in the back should work fine.

It is a little loud and not as powerful as the last microwave, but it works fine so far. The Best Buy process for purchase and installation was efficient. Overall, we are pleased with this purchase.

This new microwave works well and has the basic features we use. Only issue was that the first unit delivered had a wonky turntable - it jerked and thunked when rotating. Best Buy delivered a new one that works fine. A bit of a pain to replace as I did not pay to have them do it.

The price was much higher than we wanted to pay, but the previous owners of the house had a custom built kitchen, including a specific microwave. We do enjoy the product, but too expensive.

I needed the bisque or almond color and the salesman offered to look up suppliers that still make that color. GE still had it so I ordered it and it is almost like my old one so is easy to adjust to. Great product and great service!

Lets just say he left it in there for a couple minutes too long, I couldn't get rid of the smell of Amazonian Blubber fish out of my microwave... I've always been part of the GE Family. This was the perfect range!

Posted .Hello and thanks for your review. So sorry to hear about the odor it must have created. We recommend washing the interior with baking soda, or a non-abrasive detergent, and letting it dry. We recommend leaving the door open for 2-3 hours when the microwave is not in use to let the microwave "air out." Some extreme odors like fish or burned popcorn may take several days to wear away. If the smell or odor persists, we recommend you try one of the following: Mix 6 tablespoons of baking soda and one cup of water or mix a solution of 1/2 cup lemon juice and one cup of water. Place either solution in a microwave safe dish of appropriate size and heat for 2 to 3 minutes on high power. Hope this helps. Stay well. Geoff@GEA
