    There are many choices in microwave styles today, I needed to replace a broken microwave that was white with a white finish to match the kitchen. Other colors are available. Also, it needs to fit in existing space. That said, the goal was a simple microwave without other fancy needs. In this it is perfect. Quieter than the one replaced, more energy efficient, clear easy operating panel. Simply a microwave and doing what is needed.

    I settled on this GE microwave because of its measurements. It's a basic microwave. Not happy it doesn't let you mute or adjust the beep tone. It looks OK and will hopefully last.

    This microwave works great and fits plates nicely. The only thing I don't like about it is if you put something in it but don't start it right away, you have to open and close the door again otherwise it doesn't think that there is something in it.
