The Sales Associate knew what I needed and met my expectations! the delivery and installation was way beyond my expectations! the microwave works great! While this is a basic unit, it works well and looks good. Biggest surprise is how much better the under unit (stove top) lighting is. This model really lights up the stove top below, rather than the wall behind like the previous model did. Very pleased!

That microwave was still going but this one was as cheap as replacing the handle we had broken off the previous one. Seems to be quieter and working great just like our last one.

I replaced a Kenmore that began having door switch issues. Sounds can be muted, power level is easily selected, and I was able to use same mounting hardware. I recommend to anyone considering.

Works great-best price

Best Buy had the best price and we were able to pick it up the same day. Didn't even need new mounting hardware--bracket was exactly the same. And it's working just fine.

Not So Happy

This model is much noisier than the previous one. In fact the sides rattle at startup. I called G.E. to complain I was so irritated with the noise. The door clunks when opening and shutting. Not happy...

The controls on this one are not as easily identified as the last one. It takes a while to get used to where the buttons are.

GE is one of the few that currently has the exhaust fan separate from the interior fan. That in itself was the main selling point. Works like a charm. The exhaust fan by itself is still loud, but we seldom need to use it.

The digram for installation was upside down which was a little tricky for installation. Also the vent is a little loud but I love the look, and all the options of this microwave.

The vent fan could be stronger. Beware of installation. The crew scratched up my oven and left a bit of a mess.
