Operationally functional and easy. But only four stars rather than 5 because of two minor issues: Has a hallow tin sound when the door closes, compared to the more solid sound of the microwave it replaced. GE does not have a “trim kit” to install this as a built-in, as was the microwave it replaced. I had to customize the installation myself because no one from Best Buy or GE were any help at all! Even though I have Geek Squad tech support!

Old microwave served long and well but its time had come. This new microwave is larger, certainly has more features and was priced within our budget. So far it is working as we anticipated and we are happy with the purchase

We have had this microwave for at least a year now and are very pleased with this purchase. It looks nice and was very reasonably priced for a large microwave that allows cooking!

this 1200 1200 W oven with easy to use controls makes microwaving a pleasure. With controls that allow for one through five minute cycles with the press of only one button, the operation is swift and convenient

This unit out-performs all other units we use from family and friends. Heats everything much quicker. Over the years, they all will fail, but we make sure to replace it with the exact same model, which also says something, it has never been discontinued.

This is our second time buying this microwave. Though the first one only lasted 18 months due to a faulty magnetron device where it would no longer heat anything, we decided to buy it again. It was the size we wanted and we loved all the controls and we were familiar with it. Replacing the magnetron on our first one would cost almost as buying a new one. I guess parts are just not what they used to be and of course it was just past warranty - go figure.

Dreaded when my Kenmore gave up the ghost and I had to look for a new microwave in a world where white and off-white are hard to find. I was pleased that this model has the rounded interior, making it so easy to wipe out with no corners to catch debris. It is a good size for a family. Cooks quicker than the older one, pretty even cooking. The only thing I don't like is the order in which the buttons are placed. They make no sense and are almost opposite of what was conventional in the older ones. Over all, we are very pleased we were able to find this one, which is comparable to our old one.

This was an "OPEN BOX" purchase. I found the model number inside the microwave did not match what was on the box. I wanted to correct this so there would not be an issue later on with the extended warranty. I had to call Best Buy to take care of this. I was surprised that the unit was from 2018 so it may have been a display model. So be it. It was understood that this was open box. The operator instructions were missing from the box, but were available online. I was attracted to this particular model because of the size and the white interior. I did not like any of the dark interior models. The controls were easy to master. So far the extended features have gone relatively unused.

We had to replace our old microwave that just wore out, so after looking at several, we decided on this GE and so glad we did. This a good microwave, you don't know how much power your old microwave has lost until you place it with an new one.

Easy to use. Heats food well. Pre-set food settings and timer works well, too.

We were initially pleased with this purchase as many of the reviews of the new models were not favorable compared to the older models. We had a Litton for about 30 years before it died so we were hoping to purchase another model which would last. I like the light colored interior and also the interior light, as many of the models are gray/black inside without a light to illuminate. It makes it much easier to see the food to make sure it does not overcook. Although it is a 1200 watt oven, I think it heats a bit hotter than anticipated and I have to adjust the cooking time, so be sure to set the time for a little less and then you can always cook the food more, if need be. After the first few uses, the food came out a bit overdone. My one big disappointment Is that the "Start" button doesn't always work. Our microwave is only a few weeks old and we did purchase the 3 year service agreement, after having read so many rather negative reviews. Now we are glad we did because we will probably have to take it in to have the touch pad panel looked at. We end up using the instant start by depressing the numbers-I must admit I do love this feature as well as the Reheat button. Overall, it is a good microwave, just disappointing that the touch pad panel is already defective.

Definitely worth the price if you can get it on sale. It's a big improvement over the one that it replaced. Basic and does the job, and is very large inside.

It's huge. It's cook's great, hot and fast. Definitely recommended.

Bought this to match my other GE appliances Had I awhile now. Works well no issue. Cleans up easy. Very powerful. Regularly cook items for less than recommended time on the food box.

The quality of this product is the best its very easy to use works really well one of the best ive ever owned

We liked the size because larger casserole dishes could fit in. It has a curve in the back of the microwave. We like the ease of use and especially the six fast numbers.

Easy to install, works great. Our last one lasted 11 years, this is the updated model.
