It’s a decent AC, it will cool a small room. The problem is it is very loud. Second, it only has horizontal vents and they dont move very far. Should also have vertical vents. My biggest gripe with this unit is the ECO mode. It is nust as loud as the regular modes. Sometimes will stay on for hours, sometimes off for hours while the room gets super hot. My small Frigidaire unit works much better. Get a Frigidaire unit. Frigidaire also fits better in the window

Nice little unit, great fit and cooled a 20x30 room easy. Although it did generate a lot of water condensation from the coil outside the window.

Simple to install. Perfect for the room. We are happy.

Inexpensive A/C. It does what I needed it to do. Bought it to supplement A/C needs in 100 year old house.

We got this as an addition to our central air as one of us has health issues that require being in a very cool environment. For a small AC it does a big job. We are pleased that we purchased it.

When I first started using this a/c I would have given it 4 stars. It was priced right. It was easy to use. It cooled my bedroom perfectly. It was not very quiet but it was not unreasonably loud. After 3 seasons of use in NY which for me is a total of about 7-8 months of nightly usage only (2-3 month per year) it stopped cooling effectively. I've never had an a/c stop working after such a brief period of use. I clean the filter regularly so it's not that. It probably just leaked refrigerant and no longer has the cooling capacity it started with. I won't buy another GE a/c and will probably stay away from other GE appliances as well. I shouldn't have to replace a relatively new appliance just because of poor quality control on GE's part.

The air conditioner works great, but because the filter has to be removed from the side, i cannot remove it while the air conditioner is installed. Maybe my window is narrow or my walls are thick. But the window frame impedes the filter from sliding out. I do not want to remove the air conditioner every time i need to clean my filter.

Works good just as advertised. Would definitely recommend. for a normal size bedroom

A little louder that expected but does what it claims to do.

The unit keeps our bedroom COLD so now in summer we're able to stay cool in the bedroom and keep the rest of the house at 83 degrees. Works great!

My ac broke suddenly one night and found this on sale bought it and was able to get it next day it’s small but is a great ac very cold

Excellent and super quite ac unit. I love the color and the remote makes it super handy to turn it on/off. I would highly recommend this product.

Everyone is saying this is quiet. I bought it because of that. It’s the loudest air conditioner I have ever had. I replaced a Frigidaire with this. That one was acceptable. When the compressor goes on, the whole wall shakes. You can’t have a conversation until you turn it off. I went by the high ratings. I don’t get it. I guess you can’t believe ratings.
